We had a big ask from a contractor - renovate our bathroom in one week while we were on vacation…read more Dave and Carlina did an AMAZING job!! They helped us find exactly the materials they would need while we were away. They worked throughout the Labor Day weekend to get the project complete in our time frame (our neighbors even noticed how hard they were working while we were away!) Two issues with the materials came up while we were on vacation and they were able to make the run to the store to get the updated selections we purchased online. When we returned home, their craftsmanship was excellent! Everything looked exactly as we pictured and we love it!! Dave and Carlina were great to work with and always very responsive with communications! Much thanks to them and definitely the highest rating possible!

They provided a timely estimate with an anticipated start date and followed up with great quality work within the original estimate and time-frame. The basement was immaculate when they were done!! We enjoyed having them in our home and are anxious to do more work with them in the future!

Wish there was a way to rate 4.5, because that is truly what I intended. The only reason I could…read morenot give a full 5 stars was because of some communication issues that were had, but the quality of work was truly excellent. I hired Mike & Angel to repair the front porch/deck of my grandfather's home that I inherited, along with repairs to a deteriorating chimney. Attaching a "before" picture along with the finished product to show just how bad it was. They were responsive regarding my options and the different price points for each. The price for the work was very reasonable and well below some other numbers that I heard thrown around. Bulk of the work was done in one day, with touch ups and such done the following day as they lost daylight (which is completely understandable). Were also very responsive when I noticed something that was missed - went up the same day and corrected the issue along with doing the touch ups. All in all, good guys that did great work for a reasonable price!

We signed a contract with Sure Fix on April 5th for painting, carpentry, tile work, plumbing and…read moreelectric work totaling over $25,000 to remodel the house we had just moved into. Sure Fix's performance was decidedly mixed, and we would not hire them again. 1) 5-6 WEEKS LONGER THAN ESTIMATED Before selecting Sure Fix, Henry the owner told us the project would take TWO TO THREE weeks. In reality, they took EIGHT WEEKS, or 3-4 times longer than the estimate. 2) LATENESS NOT DUE TO ADDITIONAL WORK We added and subtracted work items after the work began, and the net cost of additional work only totaled about 20% more than the original price--a workload justifying only a few days of extra labor, and not a 5-6 week overrun. 3) ON MANY DAYS, DID NO WORK ON OUR PROJECT There were many days when only 1 or 2 workmen worked for just a few hours, and at least 10 entire days when no workmen came at all. This was a matter of health for me, as I have asthma and was adversely affected by the dust that the prolonged work period exposed me to. 4) THEY JUGGLE MANY JOBS AT THE SAME TIME Tony, the project manager, justified his periodic abandonment of our project by writing: "We have several jobs going on and we have to be fair to everyone." We felt, however, that being fair to us would mean completing our project, without gaps of inactivity, in 2-3 weeks as promised--but that did not happen. Instead, Tony wrote on a day when no work happened: "I have other jobs to do." 5) MADE MAJOR MISTAKES COSTING US TIME AND/OR MONEY Among other mistakes, a whole week was lost when Sure Fix erred by ordering a custom countertop made of the wrong material. In the end, Henry charged us an extra $1,500 for the substitute higher-grade material we ultimately selected, but we would have been happy with our previous choice for $1,500 less. 6) STOPPED COMMUNICATING AFTER LAST PAYMENT, LEAVING WORK UNDONE After we made final payment, we could see that final touch-ups had been done with the wrong paint, and those touch-ups now required touching-up themselves. I texted Tony several times and left a voice mail for Henry to schedule the fixes still due, but neither of them bothered to answer me. SUMMARY Their workmen were friendly and the work was generally good. But on balance, we would certainly not hire Sure Fix again. Photos of some of the work that Sure Fix left uncorrected are attached.

It was coming from behind the wall of a shower Sure Fix installed. The light fixture fell off the wall. I had a professional electrician come in and he stated the light fixture and several outlets were in installed incorrectly. A plumber came in to repair the shower but stated Sure Fix should be responsible for fixing my ceiling. Whenever I tried calling the secretary stated I would receive a call back because the owner was in Lebanon on vacation etc. unfortunately my husband took ill and passed and I finally called Sure Fix back. As soon as the owner left the house I received an expected bill and asking for half payment immediately. I called and stated I am a widow and senior citizen and do not feel comfortable paying in advance. I was told 'it was ok'. The next day the secretary called and was extremely rude and stated that Sure Fix would not be doing any work for me with no explanation. I asked to speak to Henry the owner and I was the is too busy doing sales.

He showed up on time for an initial estimate and consultation. Spent a ton of time design designing details of what he would suggest. Stayed in touch and followed through at every point. And then did a meticulous installation in a 150 year-old home, adjusting for every quirky thing in the building. The work was so good that we had him do another cabinet, and then another, and then another, and more and more. He's a pleasure to deal with, his workmanship and quality of the product are meticulous. He is dependable and respectful. His price point is very reasonable and maybe best of all, is he has a very strong sense of design, so he will guide you and redirect as needed. And we've always found that redirection to be on point. We have since recommended him to others! We are very very strongly, recommend him.

I used Alliance for a large roofing project and also to replace a shower base. Alliance provided a…read morelifetime mold-free guarantee for the shower work. Imagine my surprise then when no more than six months after the work was completed, my shower base had developed extensive mold in the seaming between the base and the wall tile. I contacted the owner to make him aware of the issue, and he stated that they had used the wrong caulk and would address the issue by replacing the caulk. However, when they came back they used the same caulk as the first time and the employee stated that was the caulk they always use. After a short time, the mold came back just as before. I contacted the owner yet again and was told I should just clean the caulk and he cannot come re-caulk every year when mold grows (notwithstanding the fact that the project was guaranteed mold-free). What seems more likely to me is that the correct caulk is not being used, or poor workmanship has caused mold to grow underneath the mold-free caulking. After repeated attempts to communicate with the company and the owner to remedy the issue, they have now become completely non-responsive. I would only recommend this company if you are willing shell out several thousand dollars and take the risk of being left with a deteriorating final product and no recourse for correction. Zero stars, do not recommend.

Leroy, his crew, and even his sub-contractors, were mindful, clean and on time. They were also very helpful with the selection process. We had the whole kitchen (countertop, cabinets, appliances, light fixtures, and plumbing) removed and replaced.  Our house was kept clean and spotless (I have allergies) during the whole construction period. They were so considerate that they even created a made-shift tiny kitchen (with old fridge and microwave) for us to have meals so we weren't forced to dine out for every meal.  We were kept informed every step of the way, without any surprises, and on budget.  We have been using our new kitchen almost a year now, and simply amazed and overjoyed with the superior workmanship and pleasant experience Sorensen Construction provided.  Highly recommended for any construction projects!

I wanted to take a minute to say a big THANK YOU to Joe at Fanning Construction…read more Our families house developed a roof leak and we found shingles in the yard after heavy rains and Highwinds pass through. I called Joe on a Saturday morning, he answered my call, stated that he was working in the area and he would be willing to stop by and look at the roof after finishing his current job. Joe looked at the roof, explained what would be involved in the repairs, the cost & that he could do the job today and match my existing shingles. Joe and his team returned shortly with all necessary materials, safety equipment and ladders needed to make the repairs on the steep three-story roof. Joe took before & after pictures of the repaired roof area & explained why the original shingles failed & held to his quoted price. Thank You again, Chris H.
