I am only giving this company and it's owner, Mark, one star because I have to in order to post this review. I contracted with Mark in August of 2015 to put a fence in my backyard. There was a problem getting a permit because there was no survey for my property. By the time I got the survey done and got the permit it was winter. Mark had told me he couldn't do the fence when the ground was frozen so I waited until April to contact him. Well, it is now October. I still have no fence. Mark has promised to be here so many times I have lost count. I posted a review here in August of this year. He swore if I took it down he would have my fence done by Wednesday. ... still no fence. I took him to small claims court and have a judgement against him for my $1900 deposit plus court costs. I'll probably never see my money. Beware of this company!!! read more

We had an aluminum fence installed by Mark and his team several months ago. We have a large property, so this was a big decision for us. We got several estimates, and Mark was very competitive with pricing. He also came high recommended by others in my neighborhood that used him. So the fact that his price was right made it that much better. Mark is very easy to work with, and he does quality work. We had a small situation arise where he mis-measured the amount of fencing needed in one part of our yard. Once he realized this, he ordered the correct amount, and he ate the cost difference. This shows how much he stands by his work. We love our new aluminum fence, as dour our dog who now can enjoy running around his new space. I would recommend Mark to anyone who asks. read more

When I moved into the Boro five years ago, I knew the old wooden fence in the backyard would have to eventually be replaced. Faded, rotting, and no longer holding a straight fence line, it was not exactly adding to the yard's appeal. After a shade tree took out a section last summer, I couldn't delay it any longer: Time to shop around for a fence company. I reached out to one of the "bigger names" in town. They never bothered responding. My attitude is always, if that's what you get when they're in a position to win your business, imagine how downhill customer service goes once you are. So I started looking around and found Get Fenced. They got back to me right away, came out, gave me a very competitive estimate and good counsel on how best to place the fence I wanted. Installation day was scheduled and a two-man crew showed up on time and got to work immediately. I never saw them take a break. The did what they had to do, and did so meticulously. If I saw them checking to make sure the fence pieces were level once, I must have seen them do it a dozen times. They took the old fence away and cleaned up every ounce of dug-up dirt. The flower beds they were working by totally undisturbed. I realize this review comes across a bit fawning, but they truly deserve it. The investment in new fencing was a decent one, and I certainly feel like I trusted the right team to get it done. He originally told me he would come by and take care of it, but has since stopped responding to me and went completely dark. He refuses to make the repair or take responsibility for the damage to the Property. He's extremely unprofessional, rude, and makes promises he doesn't deliver on. Sloppy and poor workmanship that he won't stand behind. I hired Mark to install several fences around my property paying him thousands of dollars that he wanted to be paid by cash. During installation he cut my sprinkler line and landscape lighting. And, after only a year the expensive aluminum fence in my backyard was already broken. I live on the water and this fence was along the back of my property as a barrier to prevent my dogs and any small children from falling in the water. I discovered earlier this summer that the last post wasn't secure... It was just sitting on the ground and if you pushed that section of the fence, it would open up to the water. I immediately called Mark and told him about the post and my safety concerns. He told me that he never cemented that post and only put in a bolt that must've broke. He said he'd get there right away to properly cement it in. After months of making appointments to come and never showing up...no contact from him that he wasn't coming or apologies for not showing up. He really gave us the run around...despite the fact that this could be a potentially dangerous situation. I recently made one last effort to contact him to see if he was ever planning on coming before I found another fence company to make the repair. His response was so nasty and unprofessional. I couldn't believe the crazy and disgusting texts he sent me. He actually wrote "I hope your dog drowns". Is this really the type of person anyone would want to do business with? At first I was excited about dealing with Marc. He communicated quickly and professional. I gave him a deposit but had to wait for my pool project to be completed. Then it came time to actually install my fence and Marc set up a date to come do the work. Then never showed. After several attempts to communicate he finally answered and assured me he would be there to do the work. Then just never showed. Now I can't get him to answer email and his voicemail box is full. So I guess it's off to small claims court to try and get my $2000 deposit back. Update. We went to small claims court to try and get our deposit back. Marc didn't even bother to show up. read more

I am a part time resident of PPB and while I was away my fence in the back fell down. I had to take care of the problem from afar and Mark was very helpful getting the old fence taken down while I was not here. Once I returned he installed the new fence promptly and professionally. I agree with Robert P DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. I also had a similar situation with my fence not being installed correctly and when contacting Mark he got very arrogant, and yes very vulgar telling me and I quote " lady go F urself all you had to do was tell me what you wanted I mean honestly people like you make me sick your miserable and take it out on everybody else." I did tell him what I needed I needed the 2 1/2" gap he left closed up so my sheppard/lab mix dog would not get out. He processed to tell me it will cost $150 more to do the job right. He then came by and screwed 3 screws from the chainlink fence into the new pvc post. He also admitted he installed the "cheap Plastic" and made $900 on me and is glad he ripped me off. I moved into town recently from a place where everyone has fences so that was first on my list. I got in touch with Mark from Get Fenced and he was very professional. He worked with me to figure out exactly what I should install - I thought I wanted wood but Mark educated me and for my property, vinyl made more sense both financially and in terms of maintenance so I went with that. His team was efficient and I had no issues. They came ready to work when they said they would and finished on schedule. Solid workmanship. If you treat your contractors and subcontractors with respect, that's what you will get in return, at least that's what I've always found to be the case. Wow...I have been looking for a person that worked with fences to help put one single gate around our pool area that was previously fenced in. So, because it was only a small job, not one local fencing contractor would speak with me. Not even the guy that did the job initially. As luck would have it, I found a Get Fenced business card at a local bagel store, and in desperation gave one more attempt at having the job done by summer. Well, Mark not only met exceptions, but exceeded them. The job was done correctly, but more important he saved me potential ruin. While he was at my home, an outside pipe bust (having nothing to do with his job). He contacted me at work, stayed there while I drove home, and we stopped the water. The damage this could have done to my pool deck and basement is a terrible thought.
