Laura doesn't just tell you what you're supposed to do or what the book says, she tells you WHY, which helps embed it into your brain. These types of classes are not something you want to "memorize" - you want to be knowledgeable in your approach and understand why you're doing what you're doing when you're trying to save someone's life!!! I will not go anywhere else EVER again!! Another plus - if you need to take a class last minute, she will do her best to accommodate you in the class you want. She will also provide you with your card the same day if you pay for the class the day before. I can't say it enough.... The CPR Girl rocks!!! Thanks again, Laura!!

I participated in a small group private CPR training session at my friend's home for 9 people. We focused on infant, child and adult CPR and choking. William is a wonderful instructor. He made the class very easy to follow and walked us through the process of what to do in an emergency situation, including seeking consent, assessing the person in distress, when to call 911, and how to perform CPR and help with choking. We practiced the process a few times with CPR manikins (different ones for infants and children/adults). William observed each of us and helped with tips and corrections as needed. We talked through various scenarios, and he gave us opportunities to ask questions. The manikins were very clean, and he also provided one-time-use gloves and sheets to cover the manikin's faces. Some tough topics are bound to come up in a CPR class - it's not easy to talk about scenarios of people in distress. William's experience in discussing these topics definitely showed. He is matter-of-fact but gentle in describing situations. The course was $40 per person. You can get a certificate as an add-on, which you can chat through with William if you are interested.
