I had been a patient of his since needing my first adjustments as far back as 2002. I continued care until moving away after college from 2014-2018, at which point I found provider in my local area. That being said, each time I return to the area I am excited to resume treatment with Dr Bruns. He and his staff are always so willing to make urgent same day or next day appointments. This is not the case for all chiropractors who can at times make you wait a week or more. If you've ever felt the insufferable shocking feeling of back or neck pain, you know the wait time can make or break you. The staff at this office sees you, they know you especially in a chronic case like mine and just knowing that they believe the pain you're in means the world. Furthermore, his treatment plans, albeit sometimes lengthy depending on the particular injury or specific muscle groups, are designed to truly rehabilitate the area versus a kneejerk adjustment so you feel relief today while leaving you susceptible to reinjury. He has always been willing to consider the financial implications of insurance in my treatment discussions as well. Truth be told Dr. Bruns has saved my life. In the rare cases where it has been a weekend and emergent situation and he has been unavailable-- IF the emergency room staff believe you all they do is provide pills numbing the pain (and you) all the while they treat you like you are simply drug seeking. If I had to endure that each time my pain flares, I cant imagine where I'd be.
