Gerome's makes quality old-fashioned sausages, but be prepared for the high prices. The Broccoli Rabe and Sharp Provolone was always a favorite of my parents. My pops used to say it was the only sausage he would grill that wouldn't make a crazy mess. They share a parking lot with the other businesses in the shopping strip so you'll have no issues parking. The staff was nice and knowledgeable of their product. The owner walked by a couple of times and couldn't even give me a good morning, but a regular walked in and he greeted him. Guess I need to visit more often? I stopped in to grab some hot fennel sausage, but wound up walking out with a lot more. A lb. each of Smoked Kielbasa, Jalapeño and Cheddar, Broccoli Rabe and Sharp Provolone joined the hot fennel. Expect to pay $12 and change a lb. which is pretty typical for a meat market. That's pretty nuts considering you can buy a lb. of Premio for around $5-$6 from a grocery store. You can also buy bulk sausage for say a lasagna which I did. My wife likes to mix their mild and hot when she makes hers. They also sell fresh and frozen pasta, sauces/gravy, some antipasti, bread and pantry items like Centro branded ingredients and Italian sweets. I grilled my sausages around 350 degrees until they reached temp and they were delightful. The smoked kielbasa is already cooked so I warmed that up for 10-15 mins in an oven and served with cheeses and pretzels/crackers. Everyone who got a taste loved them. Gerome's is a nice spot to treat yourself once in awhile. You're going to spend more money, but honestly the sausages aren't a greasy mess like the bigger brands. The hot fennel could be hotter in my humble opinion. read more

Love this place! The varieties of sausage here are awesome. I especially like the provolone and broccoli rabe. It's a 20+ min drive for us to get here but totally worth it. Throwing this sausage on the grill in the summer never disappoints. The pastas and other things they sell have been good too but the sausage is the best around! read more

Though the products may be good, I think they are overpriced. More than $10.00 for a pound of sweet Italian sausage is outrageous! This place should open their shop in New Hope or Society Hill. read more

Gerome's is hands down, the best sausage shop in the area. The hard part is choosing which variety to try first. Do yourself a favor and stop by and see for yourself. read more

We love Gerome's sausage! Philly cheesesteak sausage is a MUST try! The staff is also friendly and helpful.

I came to this place on a recommendation from a friend. I trusted his taste in food, and the fact that the place has the same name as my trisnonno was an added bonus. Wow. I really can't handle how amazing this place is. While there are some fresh pastas and little candies from the old country, the main attraction is the eponymous sausage that greets you in hefty wafts as you open the door. (that could also be the free samples in the crockpot on top of the display case). There are generally about 10-15 or so varieties that are in stock, but the classic sweet and hot sausage (which is legitimately hot!), with or without fennel, is always in plentiful supply. This is hands down the best sausage you can find around. When my family buys a few pounds, it rarely lasts more than a day, while all the guys of the house end up in a sausage-induced food daze all weekend. It's truly beautiful. In summary, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you want to blow everyone away with your sausage selection, look no further. You'll be eating Gerome's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! read more

Gerome's Sausage - The checkout counter - Meat Shops Near Me - Levittown, Pennsylvania

Finally found a place that does not have fennel in every sausage!!!! This sausage is phenomenal and totally worth the drive!

Hands down best sausage you can buy on east coast. Small family ran business that I'm assuming one day in the near future you will probably have to order months in advance. Fortunately that is not the case now as amazingly it hasn't been featured on the likes of the food network or such. Insider tip: Don't beat the sausage!!! its not the seventies you don't have to cook pork in a fiery inferno for 30 days and 30 nights. read more

We've driven past this place a lot and finally decided to check it out. Glad we did! It's a small shop but it's packed with speciality items and homemade pastas, sauces, and most importantly sausage. We bought the broccoli rabe and provolone and cooked it up with peppers and onions. It was so flavorful without being greasy. We can't wait to try the rest! read more

The sausage here is a bit pricey (around $5 a pound) but it's great quality stuff. The sweet fennel sausage I picked up had a tasty, porcine flavor and an assertive, but not overbearing, fennel kick. They have samples and plenty of other flavors of the sausage, and you can get it in links or bulk. Gerome's also has homemade pastas, a decent selection of rolls, and other Italian specialties. Miles above any supermarket Italian sausage you'll get, and definitely worth stopping by if you're in need of anything sausage related. read more

Fresh, delicious, and no fillers or artificial preservatives! Worth every cent! Don't always have what you want (that happens when food is made fresh) but they've got SO MANY varieties you can't go wrong! I've tried all the "regular" flavors and I'm now trying the unusual. We had the Marsala, Portabella Mushroom, and Shallot today. Oh, YUM! read more

Love going here for fresh sausage and frozen specialty ravioli, and maybe picking up some delicious pizzelle and a case of Sanpellegrino. We are lucky to have a place like this in Levittown. Just don't get lazy and buy the same stuff you can get at any grocery store- like pasta, jarred sauce and olive oil- because that is where they will get you on price. read more

Incredible! It's that simple. I won't stop until I've had everything. So far I've tried some of the sausage and ravioli. I'll be back there this weekend for some more. Very appreciative of the fact that this place is so close to home. read more

This is my go to place for sausage of any kind. Their broccoli rabe is outstanding as is the new Philly cheesesteak sausage. Whether you want rings of sausage or ground sausage you can't beat their flavors or service. Fresh Italian breads, pizza from Hazleton, their home made sauce and last but not least on my list their frozen stuffed shells. All great read more

When we moved from Long Island to Pennsylvania, one of our fears was that it would be hard to find our favorite Italian specialties. Thank goodness for yelp because it found me Gerome's. They have, hands down, the BEST sausage we have ever eaten. Every flavor has been amazing, with special props for the cheesesteak and pizza sausage. It's so easy to make- bake in the oven for an hour or fry in a pan. Staff is friendly and accurate. And they make their own ravioli and it's SO good (pricy but worth the splurge). This place is so amazing, I'm not sure how it hasn't caught on even more. If I could give ten out of five stars, I would. read more

Definitely a fan of this place. Good sausages. Pretty good kielbasa (almost as good as Lachoiwecz in Bridesburg). Awesome crew that works there. Hoping I walk in there one day to be able to score some boudin noir. Lots of different sausage choices too (bacon sausage? yes please!). read more

While I live in California, I grew up in Bucks County before joining the military. On one of my return trips to the homestead, my mom served up some of the green pepper and provolone sausage from Gerome's. I was hooked. That was well over 30 years ago. Now that I live in California, I have missed eating some "real Italian" sausage. The stuff in CA is fake. (But we knew that) A few weeks ago I ordered 7 pounds of sausage for a workplace pot luck. I had to laugh as I watched each person bite into the slow cooked sausage. It was as if they had finally tasted Italian for the first time. I kept on getting requests to see if there was any leftovers for the next couple days. I have again ordered another 7 pounds for the Christmas gathering at my wife's family residence, a big family, and will be expecting the same reaction as they taste it for the first time. I want to also say that I am so impressed with the outstanding customer service that I have gotten on both of these orders. Getting perishable food from one coast to another is not easy but Michael went out of his way to make sure I received my orders in time and ready to be enjoyed. For great product and to be treated as customers should be, visit Gerome's. You will be glad you did. read more

Gerome's Sausage Co was a great find. The Italian sausage is the best ever. I love the sweet, hot and broccoli rabe and sharp provolone. I am not a fan of kielbasa, but my neighbor stated that it is far better than Lachoiwez in Bridesburg and saves him the trip to Philadelphia. Gerome's makes the best sausage I've ever had! I rarely ate sausage in my life because I did not like those bits of hard fat. They use a leaner cut of pork and no fillers. Yes, its the best sausage, no bits of fat to chew on. Delish with plenty of varieties. I don't live locally and make the trip to Gerome's every time I visit my son in PA. Now that I have made it for friends, they are all hooked and its a must I bring it home for them. We place it in an aluminum pan with green peppers and Vidalia onions and some olive oil, cover with aluminum foil and bake it on the grill. When the peppers and onions are cooked and soft, the sausage is too (check in about 45 minutes) You will love it for sure!! read more
