Andy, the owner, told me an employee had just left, but he and Mario would be out. Day came, and the two of them showed up. Andy told me then that he was leaving on vacation the next day, but Mario would finish the installation. The furnace shows up the next day and its a different manufacturer than the air conditioner. I'm told not to worry - it's just as good or better than what was quoted me. Mario struggled a bit to finish the installation by himself. The seaming of the ductwork looked sloppy. When Andy returned from vacation, I asked him to come out and he cleaned it up. I will say I have no complaints about the equipment. Andy said since it's new, it won't need any service for the first two years. So, three months ago I call to schedule my routine service. I get their recording. No problem, I leave a message. I originally switched from Petro because of some questionable sales tactics, and the difference has been night and day. Burtonsville has always been honest, straightforward, and never tries to sell me anything I don't need. Pricing is clear, communication is solid, and they always set the right expectations on delivery timing. Most recently, I needed my hot water heater replaced. They came by to take a look, sent me a fair quote the same day, and got me on the schedule for the following week. The install went smoothly. The techs were prepared, courteous, and made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. Top-notch service. Easy to recommend.

I called on a Sunday and talked to answering service three times and they assured someone would call. My problem simple and complex but didn't require a visit, I just needed to ask a question to rule something out but they couldn't be bothered and were quite rue about it the next day. I'm not surprised - it's sort the way of the (non) service industry today and especially in this area with its incredible wealth and overpopulated area - there's always more customers so there is not much effort to keep customers or even treat very long term customers with respect. In any case, I'm loyal but when I'm mistreated m, I'll shift my loyalty. I know D&D doesn't care.
