We have come to Gerlinde for years. They specialize in passport photos for foreign passports. The typical places never get it right but Gerlinde does. They will research specifications and make sure that everything is correct. We called twice for our last visit as we don't live close anymore and were disappointed that the specialist was not there. I had a terrible experience with GERLINDE Photography. I paid for a cap and gown photo set but was sent regular photos I never ordered. The form I filled out clearly advertised cap and gown photos, yet they sent me printed regular photos along with a card saying I could still order the cap and gown pictures online--essentially trying to get parents to pay twice. I paid in advance for a service, in good faith, and to be treated this unfairly is unacceptable. When I called to fix the issue, I was told I needed to return the incorrect photos before receiving the ones I actually paid for--even though they will just discard them. Instead of simply correcting their mistake, they made the process as inconvenient as possible. The person on the phone insinuated that it would be a "win-win" situation for me if I didn't return the incorrect photos, which was frustrating because all I wanted was what I originally ordered. After escalating to a manager, they finally agreed to let me drop the photos off at the school, but only after receiving them back would they print and send the correct ones. Instead of taking accountability, the manager blamed both me and the school, saying I should have specified what I wanted--even though the order form was labeled cap and gown. She also questioned why the school allowed both types of photos to be taken, which had nothing to do with the mistake. To think I was about to pay an extra $70 for a digital copy is absurd--clearly, they're just trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of parents. This company is unprofessional, misleading, and unwilling to own up to their mistakes. I would never trust them with my business again. Parents, be aware of their shady tactics! read more

If there was a no star review I would have provided it. I received a invite from my son's school for senior photos with an option to take and order by July 31 with a free yard sign. Day of photographs, proofs and paying for photos- all good. Picked up photos and they forget to the yard sign. Advised they would call. They never did. I called today to ask about it and the phone was answered by the worse ever representative I have ever encountered. First she told me they didn't give away free signs this year, then told me I didn't order anything, which I advised I did. She finally told me I picked up the yard sign since there was no indication I hadn't. I pushed back saying I had not been given the sign, said she'd look. Came back and said I had to have received the yard sign since they didn't make note of it missing from my order. Now I'm supposed to accept that from someone who told me they didn't offer it, I didn't order anything and I picked it up. I told her what I thought of her customer service and that I would never use this place again, regardless of school referral. I am still out a yard sign that apparently is something Gerlinde is not interested in providing consistently. Miserable, avoid this place at all costs! read more

NSUCOM sent us here to get our graduation pictures taken by Michael. He was very responsive over email and accommodating of our busy schedules. The studio space itself is small, but his personality fills up the room. He was amazing from start to finish and thought of every detail. I'm admittedly very particular about pretty much everything, but Michael stayed one step ahead the entire session. When it came time to pick the final photo, he gave great insight on each frame and let me take my time. Their prices are very reasonable in my opinion, although I do wish they had an option for digital copies. I understand why they don't do it, but I know plenty of people wouldn't mind paying a premium for it. Overall, my classmates and I all had a great experience. I would highly recommend Michael for your photography needs. read more

Gerlinde is overpriced, their websited is outdated and difficult to navigate and they take every opportunity to gouge the clilent for extra costs. They took my daughter's school photo and we had to order from their website. No package price, but it does cost $25 per sheet. So, for a couple 5x7s and a wallet page, that'll be $50. Then, they have the nerve to CHARGE $9 to mail the photos to us, or you can choose to pick them up at their studio for free. Why not deliver all the school photos to the school and send them home with the kids? That's the normal way to do it. Oh, because there's no profit associated with that, only good customer service, that's why. They are an old-fashioned and overpriced operation. There are lots of studios and independant photographers that can offer as good if not better photo services with more creativity, superior customer service and updated technology, all at a reasonable price. Gerlinde is the place fo none of those things. read more

Joe with Gerlinde Photography took photos for our NSU College of Psychology formal event and did an incredible job. He was delightful to work with, flexible about our photo requests, and provided high-quality pictures in a very efficient time frame. After arriving early to be ready for the start of the event, Joe took both posed and candid photos for four hours straight and had the digital copies available literally the next day. Terrible Service and rude people. We did not have a choice since They are doing photos on Montesori Academy of Pembroke Pines, their Yelp score is 3 stars shows how bad They are. They took a picture of my daughter and They don't check if the photo is good to print, we paid 50 dollars for a bad photo which they even don't cut the paper. We called this "company" and they told that they take just one picture and print it, in a digital world it's unbelievable that They take just 1 picture. If you want a picture from your little ones go to another photographer.... Stay away of this crappy services. read more
