The customer service we received from that call through completion of the replacement was exceptional!! Due to our travels it was difficult to fit in an appointment, but the Safelite reps worked tirelessly with us to find the best appointment and location for the replacement. On the day of the appointment, it rained unexpectedly, and we had nowhere to provide cover to complete the service. However our tech, Michael (from the Asheville, NC office) encouraged me to think creatively to find a location and stayed with us for 30 minutes while we found a solution. He then drove an additional 15 minutes to a local garage where we could safely under cover complete the work. Michael willingness to think outside of the box and go the extra yard was unexpected and extremely refreshing! As the owner of Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals, we subscribe to the policy of "exceptional hospitality", which basically means we will look to do everything and anything to create the best guest experience for our customers; so, it was refreshing to see Michael & Safelite exhibit that same exceptional customer service to us!! Had to schedule a full day in the shop. After repair noticed a white substance on the rain sensor. Had to go back to the shop to have it cleaned off. Showed up again. Went back again. They were using some kind of gel that they knew left a residue. after the third trip I realized they disconnected my dash camera and didn't say anything. Called the shop. Amanda (asst mgr) was unable to say anything except "it wasn't connected when it came in" (not true - nice thing about a dash cam is I have the video from when i pulled in) and "we aren't liable for third party devices." not sorry no request to bring it in to make it right. etc. avoid if possible and check their work if you have to go

John's Precision Auto Repair is not a shop I would recommend to anyone. I had to have repair work…read moredone to my 2017 F-150 truck. I took my truck to the shop and received a quote. A couple days later the insurance adjuster came out and looked at my truck, he agreed with the estimate and made no changes. I called John's to set up an appointment for repair. I was told to bring it two weeks later and that it would be a six day repair job. I took my truck for repair at 8:00 am on Monday, January 18. My truck should have been ready on Monday, January 25. However, it was not ready. At that point, I was told they were waiting for parts. I called back multiple times over the next several days to ask when the truck would be ready and it seemed as each time, I was given a different date and told different parts that they were waiting on. Finally, on Friday, February 5, I was told that I could pick up my truck, but there were still three parts they were waiting on and I could take it for the weekend, but would need to return it on Monday afternoon to get the other parts put on. So 15 days after dropping my truck off for a 6 day repair, I picked it up. After pick up, I discovered that the inside handle on the rear door would not open the door and there was overspray all over my truck including the windshield. (Just a side note, the door should not have been touched, the repair was to the bed of the truck). I returned on Monday afternoon February 8th to get the top bed rail snapped on, the F-150 sticker put on and the cover for the license plate light put on. I informed them about the door and they fixed it. Then on Wednesday, February 10th, I received an email from the insurance adjuster informing me that he had just received an invoice for an additional payment of $1600.00. The adjuster stated that John's did not ask for or receive prior approval for this supplement. The adjustor told me not to worry about it, that he would take care of it. I replied to the adjustor that John's had never said anything to me about additional charges. My recommendation is that you do use John's Precision Auto for any auto body repair.
