We stopped the process, towed our car to a different body shop, and told them how extremely unhappy we were with their whole process. It still cost us over $1000 out of pocket to get them to release our car. We cannot stress strongly enough, DO NOT GO TO BEST BODY SHOP FOR ANYTHING!!!

THE SAGA: Seventh Time Is The Charm??? The first time I went to get my truck they had put the wrap on my hood about 3" and tried to pass it off even though we had agreed and they had quoted me to put it on halfway up my hood. The guy was totally going to let me leave with 1/3 of the wrap job done that I PAID FOR ALREADY. I shouldn't of had to be the one to speak up about it. The second time I went to pick it up they left a bug guard off of the front of the truck and they had to keep it again to find it and put it back on. When I picked up the truck the next time they said there was a piece that was still missing (One of the splash guards under the fender ) ... they were going to call me and install it once it came in and I never have heard back from them.... Part of my repair was also to fix my airbag sensor because my light was blinking. About 20 minutes on the road headed home and my light starts blinking again, so I called them and asked a simple question "what did you guys do to fix the airbag problem? ". They told me that they basically use the computer to reset the code and turn the light off... (which I could've done myself at home). I asked them if they just cleared the code or if they actually found a faulty problem, or if they were qualified to do that... if we needed to go to the dealership for that part of the repair. They said that their computer could fix the problem... I guess we will see, so far it hasn't come back on. (Two weeks later) Today I found the paint is peeling from the bumper.... badly. All over the bumper. (Photos will be attached) They said it's the fault of the bumper manufacturer, somehow... they told me they would order a bumper, paint it, and call me to come put it on. Almost three weeks later I had heard nothing. I called to see what was going on. They hadn't gotten the bumper, or the splash guard that I was promised was on order 5-6 weeks prior.... from the last time I picked up the truck. They didn't give an explanation but my insurance guy told me that the guy that I was working with had walked out.... They had the truck for four more days, and when I returned to get it, it wrap was coming off the right fender. In the parking lot. At their shop. I'll return Monday (or whenever they call) and see how it looks. They offer a "lifetime warranty" on their repairs, and I'm really afraid that I'm going to have to keep returning over and over when the paint or wrap has issues. Time will tell. Overall I would say the paint that they didn't match pretty well but if it doesn't stick to the car then what difference does that make? I'm really worried that this wrap is not gonna last... Communication from the shop was horrible to nonexistent. I had to call them every time I update with maybe one exception. At the point that I have to go get my car six times from the same shop for the same repair they should be doing more than just saying "we will fix it this time", in my opinion. I think they should've refunded some of the cost for all the trouble that I've had to deal with, but there was not any offer of that type... Just basically I was treated like I was the problem. I would absolutely 100% in the strongest terms tell anyone to stay away from this shop.

Alex and his team are the kindest people and from day 1 I knew they were going to take good care of me and my car. The team (2 brothers) have been doing this for years and are experts. They even took the time to explain the PDR process and show me their examples. My initial quote was higher (not significantly) compared to others I got, but it is HONEST. Other companies will quote you less so you choose their shop and then charge you (not insurance) on the backend because it actually costs more than the quote. Do not let their quote scare you away!! It is incredibly reasonable and will save you money in the end. When it came time for the insurance adjuster to view the damage, he wanted to facetime me to inspect my car. I told Alex this and he thought it was unusual, so he asked if I could come to the shop during the scheduled time so that he could talk the adjuster through the quote versus me. I thought it was so kind for him to care that much and invite me in on his clock. Unfortunately, even after Alex gave the adjuster an incredibly in-depth report on the damage, my insurance came back with a claim price lower than the quote. I told Alex this and he told me he would handle it - I didn't have to do a thing on my end. Getting a rental car was a little unfeasible for me due to added fees. so Alex arranged for my car to be done while I was away one weekend. They even went so far as to take me to work the morning I dropped my car off. When I got back, I told them if possible I really needed my car for an errand and to my surprise and pleasure, the team had it done early. When I came to pick it up, the outside and inside of my car were spotless! (yes, they vacuumed and cleaned the whole inside of my car!) I was blown away. I just wanted a catalytic converter put on my car because the one on the vehicle had been removed. I left the car there overnight and was told they were swamped and would get to it the next day. The next morning I got the $420 price tag quote to do the job. This was $80 more than another shop I had gone to, where they did not charge me anything to look at the car and wrote a receipt quote complete with tax and labor. I was talked into G&L by my neighbor so my loyalty got the best of me. When I was told that I had to pay the $47.30, without prior verbal or written agreement of such a charge, I was in a moment of disbelief. The sad reality is, the charge I paid to G&L added to the price I paid elsewhere, is still lesser than the quote of $420 by G&L. Do yourself a favor and save money.
