Extremely non responsive for a psychiatrist who has various patients who may be having adverse reactions to medications. Most of the people who answer the phone are rude and unwilling to give proper care or answers to simple questions. Over the course of a year, he built me up to a 400mg dose of seroquel, which I was later told my a physician was extremely unprofessional and potentially life threatening. When moving out of state, Dr. Michaels refused to stock me up on my medication, forcing me to withdraw and spend hours in urgent care getting an emergency prescription. Don't not choose this practice if you are looking for a care team that has your best interest in mind.

She also makes sure to ask about your medications, if you have visited your psychiatrist, etc. Good to know she is on the ball. I've found a great deal of help from my provider. However, how this company is billing is illegal. They have absolutely no explanation for charging, they do not follow any billing regulations and they strong arm people who do not know better into paying an exponentially large amount of money. I was not informed of any outstanding bill, until it was $2500 and a year late. I had a change of insurance and apparently it lapsed for a period of time. Under CA law you must inform anyone uninsured how much their appointment will be BEFORE services rendered. I did not find out my sessions were $350 per session until months later - I would have just stopped going until my new coverage kicked in. My therapist said " Itll tell me if your not covered and it's not saying that so you should be good". Their OWN OFFICE STAFF, told me a person in billing was fired over this mistake. My insurance office mentioned all of the calls coming from Mindpath because of this massive billing issue. Never once have I been contacted by upper management despite calling and leaving messages. I've been a supportive client for 5 years and I would like to keep my provide but it's looking like I need to find a new one. It's a never ending fight with them. I would not recommend anyone go here, this is not a BBB accredited business. I tried to file a complaint and you can't.

Old nurses have a tendency to be very critical when it comes to physicians as well as health workers in general and extremely harsh on themselves. I could not be any of the above when it comes to Dr. Elilta Hagos! I met her one day ago at UCLA Century City urgent care and she was a Godsend . The kindest and the most compassionate doctor/person/human I have come across, specially when I needed it the most. Dr Elilita was thorough and caring and most important, she listened to what I had to say. Respect!!!!
