Crunchy Chicken Tacos

Always hits the spot for quick Mexican food. I personally think their tacos have the best flavor and variety. Can't beat it for a quick drive through meal. Still relatively cheap for today's inflation. Carnitas and pastor nicely flavored

Chicken tacos - only 3.50 for two on Tuesdays
Gretchen A.

Taco Tuesday is back y'all! Two crispy chicken tacos for $3.50 and they are stuffed with breast meat. A bit greasy but the oil was clean and you can tell they change it which is all I ask for my greasy chicken tacos. I will be back! Yummy house made salsa too.

I've been searching for a good tacqueria and Gerardos is pretty decent! I had pastor and asada tacos and I really liked the pastor tacos. Out of the four salsa choice my favorite was the avocado salsa, a bit savory but more flavorful than the red and green salsas. Those two were very watery. We also got two tamales and they were delicious, recommend the beef one more. My husband had the asada burrito, it had not a lot of rice, tasted good. My husband also had the hard tacos and they were pretty good and cheap, the meats were basic but it was a good deal. Overall, definitely would come back, it's delicious and decently priced.

Cabeza Burrito

Not any Mexican restaurant that offers Cabeza meat can cook it really good. Let me tell you, Gerardo's can! The meat is super soft and melt in your mouth delicious. I've tried several different spots that offers Cabeza and so far Gerardo's is the best and a must try if you like this type of meat. The green salsa is so good! The employees are super nice and welcoming. Prices and dish selections are good! This will be my go to for Mexican food and I highly recommend this location in Summerlin, cross street is Grand Canyon.

Carne asada torta

Absolutely delicious food, I really enjoyed the carne asada torta, bread and lettuce are very fresh, carne asada meat is tender and flavorful. The staff is amazing as well. Will continue to be a repeat guest.

Haven't been here for years but Customer service amazing, tacos still just as amazing, watermelon Fresca refreshing , quick fast and quality food and service. Price is still a deal. Especially for hard taco Tuesday!

Nothing left! lol

Delicious food all around. I've ordered through the drive-through and with Uber eats and it's always consistent. My ultimate favorite part about this place is they are dog friendly!! I'm not sure about inside, but I just had a delivery order where I requested a very plain chicken taco for my senior dog. They delivered and I have the happiest dog ever!!!

10/10! A must try! Traveling through and was craving some legit Mexican food for breakfast. We're Cali so I have pretty high standards regarding Mexican food and the food was phenomenal! We ordered an asada torta, breakfast burritos, hard shell tacos (shredded beef & potato) with a side of some of the best rice & beans that I've tasted! You can always tell if a Mexican restaurants food is going to authentic and good by if they can make good tasting rice & beans! The verde guacamole sauce is so yummy! Wish they had one their restaurants close by us in Cali.

Are you looking for a solid breakfast burrito? I recommend trying Gerardos. On this visit, I ordered an asada breakfast burrito. It was huge! The burrito was flavorful and packed with cheese, potatoes, egg & asada. I added their green salsa and it put the burrito over the top. The red salsa is too spicy for my taste. The prices are reasonable and the interior is always clean and well kept. Staff-Friendly They also have daily specials for under $10. Drink included. This place is off the strip, so it's a little out of the way unless you live here. I'm looking forward to my next visit . The asada nachos/fries are on my radar. They have a drive thru

Came here for a late night delight with my dad. First off amazing pricing and an array of delicious options. I got the #2 / 2 burritos and rice and beans. The second burrito didn't make it due to my belly lol pricing was very reasonable $12.50 for 2 healthy burritos is a steal during these economic times. It was perfectly made light rice and beans with meet and salsa and veggies. They have 1.49/ea hard shell tacos everyday. Have weekly specials. Such a fire hole in the wall Mexican spot! Highly recommend. Service was prompt and attentive. Definitely coming back before I leave. Might even come for taco Tuesday. 1.49 hard shell tacos can't beat that. This is the place you want if you are ever worrying about your pockets and want a delicious meal.

Mood: Authentic Mexican I've been here four times and haven't had a bad meal yet. Customer service is quick and helpful. Always available to add those extra onions and hot peppers. They do not skimp out which will have be back again and again. Make sure you get the green salsa. All my meals have been for take out but the inside is spacious for sure to dine in. Food: Carne asada burrito 9/10: this is fully loaded (no cheese) and they are good size burrito. One thing I like is a hefty burrito and doesn't fall apart on bites. Chicken tamales 7/10: way more saucey than I prefer. Made fresh with ok flavor. Think needed more taste of flavor and seasoning. Enchiladas 8/10: green sauce enchiladas plate is for sure filling and tasty. It has good seasoning and size. I enjoy the platter with rice and beans. It's also not overly cheesy. Those are the only things I've tried so far and the burrito is always a go to. It's hard to try other items when I'm stuck but next time I'll ask for recommendations.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Do they have birria tacos?

No they do not

Average Mexican food…read more My friends and I got hungry when walking down Fremont Street so we stopped by Tacos & Miches for a quick bite. It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

Definitely recommend going when they first open because otherwise it doesn't matter the time or day of the week, the lines are extremely long! Love how spacious the restaurant and how organized it is! Once inside the restaurant, there are several lines and you just line up according to which meat and item you want. The longest lines are definitely the asada and adobada (pork)! Once you reach the front of the line, you just tell the staff which and how many of the item you want, as well as any customizations to it. After you get your order, you just head to the cashier line and paying is so easy and convenient! Pricing is reasonable. - Tacos, tostadas, taco aztecas - $4.12 - Sopes, quesadillas, vampiras, & mulas - $7.54. - fries with meat - $22.18+ - soft drinks - $3.31 Arrived at 11am on Sunday and it was already super crowded. Stood in the asada line for at least half an hour but the wait was so worth it! Got 3 Asada Tacos and the tortilla was so soft, hot, and fresh. It was stuffed with plenty of tender beef! The beef was packed with flavor and marinated so well! The pico de gallo was so delicious, as well as the salsa and guac. The Horchata was ok and nothing special since it wasn't made from scratch like the phenomenal tacos! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food. Definitely would recommend and return!

We spoke for a bit and he had a nice table set up for us right at opening. We enjoyed their brunch service for 6. It was dish after dish of foods that were wonderful and we finished it off with churros and chocolate mousse. Very good food presented very professionally. That and a few drinks made for a great Saturday the 25th. If I were to make any criticism it was the music was way too loud. Blade twice went to turn it down but somebody else in the staff kept turning it up to what even seemed to be Blades frustration. Made it a little difficult to have a comfortable conversation. Maybe at night when the atmosphere is not nice dining and more bar club the music should be that loud. Regardless we had a wonderful meal and a nice experience even if we had to speak loudly to each other. Blade the server was a huge part of the overall experience.

When they called my name, I went to the counter and notice that they got my order wrong...they gave me a pollo asado taco, instead of a pollo asado burrito with cheese. I swear I had told the lady that took my order that I wanted a pollo asado burrito, but perhaps I was wrong, or perhaps she was mistaken with what I ordered. Either way, I am not one to make a fuss, as restaurant workers already work hard (especially the workers at this place), so their ears didn't need a brat like me to give them an earful about getting my order wrong during peak lunch hours. Anyways, I pointed out the mistake, and mentioned if I can order a pollo asado burrito. An older gentleman (who appeared to be the owner/manager/someone important) working behind the counter said don't worry about it...he'll make the burrito and call my name when it's ready. I thanked them profusely, went back to my seat and didn't even finish my al pastor taco, because they had called my name in less than a minute. WOW! That's customer service right there! I wouldn't even put The Taco Stand on the top of my list of best mexican food in Vegas, even though their food is pretty damn good, but with customer service like this, they've made the jump on my list, and I'll be returning to eat there more often!
