TL DR: Good machine work, just takes him a while…read more I took in a Chevy 250 engine block and crankshaft for machine work. He bored it 30 over for the 3.905 inch pistons I want to install. Every single cylinder bore measures 3.909 when I used a 3 digit micrometer tool. The engine was clean as a whistle when I got it back. Didn't mic the crank yet but it definitely looks good. Prices are reasonable. It was a few weeks before he got it done but the machine work looks good and I'm more worried about it being done right than it being done fast. They offer all your general engine refurbishing services for a rebuild if you live in the Sumter, SC area.

Trashed two engine blocks I brought them. Bored out a block whose cylinder bores had been freshly…read moresleeved. Lost the main and rod bearing caps of the second block, and screwed up replacement caps I provided by installing one backwards before align boring. If you care about your engine, avoid this incompetent machine shop at all costs. They suck.
