I was visiting from out of town and had limited time in the area so I appreciated them accommodating me on short notice. The technician who started my service was very kind, but she mentioned a few times that she wasn't feeling well. Out of concern, I told her she could skip the polish and stop early. Later, I regretted that decision and called back to see if I could return to have the polish applied. The receptionist was not particularly friendly, but eventually agreed I could come back the next day, Sunday. When I returned, the overall vibe was a bit off. The receptionist and the new technician seemed cold, and it felt like there may have been some internal discussion about the situation. Nonetheless, the service was completed. Unfortunately, by today, Monday (7/14), the polish on one of my toenails has already chipped, which is frustrating so soon after the appointment. When I used to live in Miami Lakes and when I come to visit, I typically go to the other location by Veterans Park and see Magalys, and I've always had great experiences with her. They were unfortunately booked for the rest of the weekend. While I've had consistently positive experiences at their other location, this visit was disappointing by comparison.

Rarelyyyyy they'll put you with whom you've selected. The last time I went to this nail place the woman absolutely ruined my nails. She cut me, and burning them with the razor thing. The following month I went to a new nail salon only to find these blood marks on my toes. When I sent the owner a message she didn't even bother to respond. Instead she continued to post about her clients. I will also attach the message I sent to the owner to better explain the issue. Definitely not recommended.

I explained which day would be best for me because I have an important trip, and she said no problem, I could come at 8 am. I said perfect! The appointment was made the day before, I received my confirmation, and when I arrived the next day, after waiting 32 minutes for the girl, the front desk told me that she had made a mistake explaining how their appointment system works and that they couldn't see me that day. This is unacceptable; nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and it wasn't even something I requested. I wasted my time, ruined my day at 8 am because these things are incredibly annoying, and most likely I won't be 100% presentable for my business trip since I had an appointment scheduled almost 15 days in advance. They have a system where the appointment reminders tell you there's a $25 cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours, and I'm sure they won't see you if you're late. I support this, but they should consider something similar when they treat customers the same way or worse. I hope this story helps someone; personally, I would never come here again to waste my time, which is the most valuable thing.
