After nearly murdering me with levothyroxine, DePaz sent me to Bassi. She immediately stated upon looking at me,"You've been misdiagnosed!!" She then refused to give an appointment again. Every doctor at this practice covered for Dr. DePaz who nearly killed me. I am 6'1". My weight went from 235lbs to 135lbs in months. I had seizures almost constantly. Dr. Bassi refused to ever speak to me again to cover for her friend. If you value the lives of your loved ones and your own life then stay away from this den of medical negligence.

Last 2 year's, chronic pain, depression, anxiety and extremely low b12 and Vit D levels. Throat felt swollen and difficulty swallowing.Many trips to primary asking for more thorough testing. Why were my labs for last 2 year's way out of range? Sister passed from thyroid storm age 37. Mom and all other siblings have thyroid issues. Referred to Dr. Han a thyroid specialist by my primary doctor. Finally thought I would get a thorough exam and get to the root of my thyroid issues . Gave her my history. Told her I was severely fatigued. She told me to get busy...get off the couch...maybe to start jogging...as she jogs. ??? I had told her that I was retired...had spent the last 3-4 years taking care of aged dying parent's...and she tells me to get a busy and start jogging like her. Well for one.. she is at least 25 years younger and presumably in good health...I resented her tone and her condescending manner. She never touched my throat or even had me swallow. She then proceeded to tell me well maybe you are pre-diabetic. So she ran a blood test which showed my sugar was slightly over normal and basically wrote me off. Side note... Followup with more blood sugar tests.with primary..I don't have a pre-diabetes or diabetes issue. Then I convinced my primary to run a thyroid antibody test which came out extremely high ( indicative of an autoimmune disorder). Dr. Han did not run this antibody test! When I questioned treatment with my primary and Dr. Han and asked if they could further test me for Hashimoto's I was told..Your thyroid results are within the range of treatment for the standard western medical field of reference. Talk about dropping the ball. Because they are the only doctors my insurance will let me see, I have to do my own research and treat myself. I would not recommend this doctor at all. She did not listen to my concerns, review my medical history or take my concerns seriously. In addition she was rude. I am very disappointed with the treatment from this specialist and my primary doctor at Sutter Gould Medical Modesto CA.

Dr Hodgson was very helpful and even walked with us to the gasto department to help us get an appointment. With her help, we got in MUCH sooner than expected - in just 15 minutes! The online portal is also very handy for checking on test results, bills, and communicating with the doctors. They always responded promptly to questions we submitted via the portal.
