His attention to detail and willingness to share and explain so many tips and strategies to maximize my listing, based on his many years of experience not only made things easy and smooth, but actually an enjoyable experience. He led me through everything from selling vs renting, to explaining how he was maximizing the value and attracting the most qualified and motivated candidates. My final thought after everything is he's not only as good as a realtor gets, but a genuinely good guy I highly recommend.

When I was buying Stephen helped me decide on the area based the needs and wants I had for a home. He helped guide me through the process. I was very pleased with both of the homes he helped me buy. Both were a good value and under appraisal. One home I put a contract in for turned out to be a bad deal based on the inspection. I talked it over with him and based on his advise I didn't continue with that purchase. I'm so glad I took his advise, the home I ended up with worked out much better for me. When I was selling, with his help, we had several offers and a contract over list price within a few days. I was very pleased with his assistance through a complicated sell/buy. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend him. He's not pushy but kept me informed. He didn't pressure me to buy at the top of my range like so many other realtors do. I found a real gem of a Realtor!

We connected through a Homes.com search--ran filters for realtors with the highest volume of buy & sell transactions over the last five years--and he was at the top of our list. We had a few referrals from our network, but Chris was incredibly responsive, and our first call was solid. Long story long, we moved to Austin around that time, and Chris was there from the very start. He's direct in the kindest sense of the word, and he 1000% loves what he does. He figured out what we liked and didn't like, but that honestly didn't matter much because we had no idea where we wanted to live. Throughout the holidays, we went into escrow--then had to pull our offer days before closing due to the inspection. Chris's response? "If you guys want to change directions, we can start looking for new properties tomorrow." This was after he spent two hours inspecting the place himself, pushing the builder to add new gutters, fix the lawn's grading, and leading the blue tape charge on 3,500 square feet. Later, he talked us through properties that looked great in person but wouldn't appraise on paper, and ultimately, he helped us land the perfect place. Frankly, the guy knows every aspect of a real estate transaction inside and out. I don't know if he's so well off that time doesn't matter, but he had to lose money on us. He over-invests, and odds are, you'll make a good friend in the process--like we did. There are a bunch of other stories that highlight Chris's dedication, the depth of his network, and how ridiculously motivated he is. He's an awesome negotiator, incredibly patient, and an even better person.

We were referred by a friend to work with Tom and we are very happy we decided to work with him. We moved into Austin, TX from out of state and as new comers to the area Tom was a perfect person to work with. While we were shopping for neighbourhoods and houses he also introduced us to the city of Austin and let us know about many events, restaurants, and places the locals prefer. Working with him is a great way to acclimate to Austin and you also get a house in process. It's a great deal. He is well connected and it is a valuable thing to be part of his network in Austin. Whenever we needed to find a professional to help with anything we would ask Tom and he would guide us to the best people around. He is very direct and honest in telling you why the house you are looking at is or is not a good house to buy. In fact, he talked us out of several houses that we wanted to buy and once we were done with house buying we ended up with a house that we are much happier with than some of the earlier houses we thought we wanted. So he is not in a hurry to sell you a house and get get paid. He wants to make sure you get the right house above all else. He also knows very well how the system works and what needs to be done to get your offer to be the top offer when you do find the house you want. He makes great effort to be the preferred buyers agent to work with for the seller's side and give you the best chances of getting your house. It was a great experience working with him even in the frustrating Austin housing market where inventory does not meet the demand for the number of buyers.

We were looking for our first ever home and needed a realtor who could answer the many questions we had about the home buying process (from how to obtain a pre-qualification letter, to researching the history of a house, and everything in between through closing), but who could also ask all the hard questions to sellers we did know of to ask ourselves. Not only was Mark able to do that for us, he worked countless hours over the course of many weeks and weekends in showing us houses as they came up on the market and really picked up on our style the more he listened to us discuss what we liked in each home. The biggest compliment we can think of to give is that throughout the entire process, we genuinely believe Mark shared with us the time, patience, incredible expertise, and his objective observations of all the pros and cons he could think of that he would have given to his own grandma and family. We make no reserves in saying that if you are in the process of searching for a realtor who will genuinely shoot you straight while providing amazing customer service and who has an excellent eye for the dream house you are looking for: your search has ended because you will find all that and a bag of chips with Mark. We are in our dream house today after working with him and could not be happier.

During the stressful times (because we all know selling a home can be stressful at times), he was right there by our side bringing us coffee gift cards if you can believe it! He answered our dozens of phone calls and text messages without delay and was very patient answering our many questions (we were selling our first home, so we had lots of questions). You can tell he empathizes with his clients. He seems to really understand what his clients are going through and we could tell that he genuinely cares. Not only that, he is a fighter. He fights for his clients...for their wishes, needs and investments. As if that wasn't enough, we were able to get 98% of our original asking price which was set at a price above the average in our particular area! We were very pleased abut that to say the least because we had more equity in the home than we thought - and it was thanks to Chris and his determination and hard working attitude. We would recommend Chris Frickel to any family, friend, neighbor or stranger because I know he would take great care of them. Happy selling and hunting!
