From the very helpful…read morereceptionist at the front desk, to my cleaning and x-rays with Jessica, his super nice dental assistant, who gave me the best cleaning I've ever had and reassured me that I was in pretty good shape (contrary to what the last "mega-dentist" in Cranberry told me two weeks ago), to the Doctor's prognosis and the cost, i don't think I've ever been so impressed by a dentist. First of all, the dentist is incredibly down to earth and immediately made me feel extremely comfortable as soon as he greeted me and introduced himself. Dr. Jovanelly does pretty much everything from basic dentistry to what seems to be all of the cosmetic procedures, but what he really specializes in is what's called "mini implants." Traditionally, they were not typically used for much, except as an anchor to hold in dentures. But in the past 8 years since he started using them as an alternative to traditional implants (traditional implants could cost as much as $4k a tooth if you're like me and need bone grafting and a sinus lift and take a full YEAR to complete!), he said they have advanced astronomically, and now anything can be used to cover the implant (i.e., porcelain crown, etc.), and that they could last 20 years plus. Not to mention they only cost $1,100 each, all inclusive, and take only two to three weeks from start to finish! When he looked at my x-rays and told me what I was going to need was going to be far less than I had previously thought (the Cranberry dentist told me i needed a ridiculous amount of restoration work and that it would cost a minimum of $30k, upwards to $50k!) Doctor Jovanelly told me I would need only TWO veneers (I was trying to convince him that I really felt I needed four minimum and he said definitely not -- the Cranberry dentist said I would need 8-12), and that I wouldn't need four mini implants, but three! Not only that but he patiently answered all of my many uninformed questions and told me not to hesitate to call back with anymore, while the famous guy in Cranberry was abrupt, unaccommodating at best, and seemed put out by my questions. I'm not a fan of visiting the dentist, but I can honestly say, not only am I not hesitant about returning, but I'm so looking forward to it.

No one calls you back, you can find a form online her website down by her YouTube and instagram for existing customers that just will send you a text later without saying who it is from that they can see you whatever day. Pamela used to have a dental hygienist who was nice the only reason we stuck around. Now Pamela cleans teeth herself within 8 mins...So you think that was a good cleaning!? Think again. Don't bother calling her and getting that appt for issues that need to be seen. She'll X-ray you waste your time and not even look in your mouth before rushing you out the door.. Took her longer to write a "referral" because she doesn't pull teeth anymore. I guess she's just a dental spa. Do yourself a huge favor and just wait for another dentist to establish yourself as a customer because Pamela Crumrine is not a good dentist, she cares more about her glamor shots on her website and food on her YouTube then being a good dentist. I came for a toothache. I was called in 2 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Not bad for a Dr…read more office. I felt like a honored guest as they took multiple x rays with a high tech machine. The dental assistant completely explained what the x rays revealed. Most complete set I have had in my 65 years. Best explanation ever. Dr. Wood then came in and explained why my tooth was hurting and gave options to repair. I was totally impressed with everyone. Friendly, Very professional and exceptionally informative. They all had places to go, yet there was not the feeling that I was a hindrance to get there. All total I was in the office for 1.5 hours and it went fast. The downside is that at the end I was ushered into an office and offered a complete dental repair. It was very low key, no high preasure sales. I left with a 4 page detailed list of work that needed to be done and the cost for each part. I came in for a tooth ache not to repair 65 years of dental neglect. I am returning for a cleaning and will return for regular dental work in the future.

His reputation is as a no-nonsense, straight shooter. His office is no frills. The staff is kind. One of the dental hygienists was a bit brisk and didn't bother to introduce herself to me, so I made a point of introducing myself and said, I thought we ought to at least exchange names if she was gonna have her hands in my mouth! LOL. I tried to make a light of it, but also make a point. That said, she did a really good job. I was told there's another hygienist who works halftime, and I'm going to try her on my next visit just to see the difference. But I definitely recommend this doctor. He has a compassionate "bedside manner" and I appreciated his direct approach.
