This Hotel aptly positioned on Regency Street is in a craking location which unfortunately has the wreckage of the old pier in front of it. However, I think this is a great part of Brighton history so if you look at it from a different angle is actually a good view.
I have to say that the rooms are ok but I did expect them to be a bit more grand to suit it's name. However, there are some good rooms with a balcony which is fantastic to have in the summer to sit out with the partner and share a nice bottle of white wine whilst watching the sun set. I am an old romantic.
The prices do fit the quality you get but they do not include breakfast which many similar standard hotels and prices do but this does mean you have to get out of the hotel early so that you can make the most of your stay. Unfortunately, George the IV only gets 3 stars from me. read more
