Eventually, Larry from Cannon Patio and Driveway visited, but his solution was inadequate. He simply suggested sealing the areas where gravel was coming up, without addressing the sinking and discoloration of the driveway caused by regular vehicle use. They were initially hired to tear out my old driveway, regrade, level, and asphalt it. Their work was rushed and subpar. The regrading and leveling have failed, resulting in puddles forming on the driveway. Asphalt is already starting to loosen and come apart, which is unacceptable considering the amount of money I paid for their services. They provided a quote for the project, but when it came time to settle the bill, they charged a higher price. They claimed it was due to miscalculations regarding the amount of gravel needed. This pricing scheme is deceptive, and I regret not conducting thorough research on contractors before hiring them. Be careful and DYOR. Don't make the same mistake I made.

When they removed some sod on the side of the driveway, Larry asked if they could put it in my back yard. Larry also said his crew would compact it down and make it level. I told him he could do that. Big mistake on my end, not only did they do a horrible job of leveling, they also left pieces of asphalt in the sod, which ended up in my backyard as well. At that time I was also having my entire backyard redone. The paver company that was finishing there work saw the sod Larry's guys threw in the back and were pretty upset, since they had already leveled the entire backyard prior to this. As for the driveway, everything was going good until the roller would not start. Instead, Larry's crew used there asphalt compactor. It worked okay, but not the same result as a roller. Another issue was the Belgium block border joints. The crew tried to make it a little fancier with the cemented joints that protrude an inch over the top and sides. It looked nice at first, but 2-3 months later 50% of the protruding part cracked off. Overall rating (1-10) Crew: 8 Larry: 6 Driveway: 7 Backyard sod placement: -1

I had thought with yard clean up, the lawn would be mowed but this was not included. The weeding was done but not throughout the rock trim and flowers were pulled along with weeds. The bushes were not trimmed. Two were flowering and couldn't be but the others should have The mulch is done well but a mess was left behind. I understand mulch is messy and it was raining. All in all, I would not use again.

Ed Saccomanno, Owner of Living Water Home Improvement, did, in fact, return to our home to address two (short) lengths of vinyl siding that had come loose over the past several years. We had some difficulty having this done earlier due to scheduling issues. Ed, as indicated earlier, is a man of his word, and, using his 30 foot ladder, snapped into place, two short lengths of siding that had become detached from the adjacent lengths. These two pieces of siding are located just beneath the roof line of our home on either side, much too high for me as the home owner, to safely address. Again, Living Water Home Improvement furnished and installed all new vinyl siding on our home including, cladding, where needed, shutters, vents, architectural details, gutters and downspouts. Ed worked closely with us when we were given the opportunity to choose siding and trim details including various styles, finishes, and colors. The first two were excellent experiences. This recent fence also looked great at first but we saw serious problems develop including sections that were bowed and sections that disconnected from the posts. They refused to come out to fix the early issues so I figured it was time to give up and get something new. It was only today that I was able to see that our issues were due to shoddy installation. First off, they never removed the old posts but just cut them down. If they encountered difficulty driving a post to the correct depth for stability, they cut the post instead of digging. They also left a fair amount of debris in a stretch of woods behind the house. The new fences was a little less that the GM fence but the price includes digging out the old GM posts and cleaning up the old debris.
