Early on my über-delicate skin would get a rash from wearing woolen sweaters, most metals or even from using certain kinds of laundry detergents. As I grew older this seemed to worsen in respect of jewelry and nowadays I am not able to wear even fancy 18k gold earrings that I used to a few years back. I'm telling you all this because when I spotted a cheap and chic GORGEOUS set of danish designed earrings passing by this store I drooled. I wasn't gonna buy them, with my track record and all, but a very nice sales woman approached me and suggested that I try: all of their models are nickel free and specially good for sensitive people like me. I was hesitant but got them anyways and I'm very glad I did: the quality is fantastic, and I have had them on for the whole week now! I even forgot to take them off one night and woke up with irritation-free earlobes :)) Also, the workmanship and attention to detail are fantastic, specially considering the price: this puppies look expensive... but they are not! So I just went back and bought a few more sets and are now looking forward to rock them too.

Anders (the guy behind Handcraftedcph) was so wonderful to work with. My husband and I ordered our…read morewedding bands from him and they came out better than we could have ever imagined. We've gotten so many compliments on our rings and their unique and well made designs. Anders was so easy to work with via Facebook messenger and it was so easy to find his shop on Sønder Boulevard. When my husband picked up our wedding bands I also had him get two pairs of small earrings and Anders gave us a small discount on everything :) I will absolutely be going back to him for more jewelry in the future. His store is perfectly situation in Vesterbro among cute coffee shops and boutique stores. A great little stop on the weekend if you want to check out some beautifully crafted Danish design and jewelry. He also collects antiques and vintage home items, which he also sells in his store. This is an amazing jewelry store. Ole is on par with Cartier and Tiffany in terms of quality of…read morematerials and design, but they appear to be smaller-scale in terms of the number of items, and the types of items they produce. Nevertheless, you will not struggle to find something amazing. I find their pieces to be organic looking and mostly inspired by nature. The sales representatives were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and all of them spoke English beautifully. Even the packaging is thoughtful. Be sure to ask if you see something you like, or if there was something you saw online that is not in one of the cases. They do not have everything there on display. They remind me of Harry Winston in this respect. "Oh, you like sapphires? HERE are some of our sapphires (pulls out random tray of beautiful blue rocks)." I wound up purchasing a set of diamond star earrings in two different sizes and a south sea pearl, diamond, and tourmaline drop for an asymmetrical look. They will sell you one earring! How fun is that for those who have multiple piercings? I also purchased two Life bracelets, one in green and one in blue. I don't take it off and have stacked it with my Cartier love and juste un clou bracelets for a nice little stack. Definitely check out this beautiful, friendly store when you are in Copenhagen. It's right around the corner from the D'Angleterre Hotel, which is also fabulous!
