I thought I'd save some money by using a new web developer. I came across gfxpixels.com. Puremba was nice enough and convinced me he could help. It was clear after a few dealings with him that he was sending his work out to India. (I'm certain he is in India as well but thats another story) I felt something was wrong and changed all of my passwords. And what do you know he added a link to Geometric on my websits' home pabe... What a con artist. If you hire these guys you end up with horrible work and pay them to screw you (with the back link to their site). It hurts you as google knows it has nothing to do with your business but helps them as they get a free backlink. We engaged GeometricBox to fix an issue with a javascript error we were getting with our contact page. The error was preventing the contact page from autoforwarding the contact info to our office. When I first talked to the GeometricBox staff, they told me that they could easily fix this and that it would cost $100. I paid via Paypal and sent them an email showing the code that my site developer said needed to be entered into the site code to correct the error. After a few days, I emailed GeometricBox again and asked them for a status report. They never responded, but I did notice that they did make an attempt to resolve our website's issue. I waited another 5 days before emailing them again asking for a status report again...still no response. After that email, I noticed more activity, but no resolution to our issue and no correspondence from GeometricBox. After another email two days later, I received a voicemail telling me that issue had been resolved and that I should call back to discuss the workaround they have come up with. I called them back and was put on hold...I waited on hold for twenty minutes before I hung up. It has been two weeks since we engaged their services and I have not received one email response and we are no closer to resolving our issue. This morning I told them via email, we no longer require their services. We had a terrible experience with this company and recommend that you do not use them. read more

First off, they charged me $688 for a two page, super straight forward webpage. I'm unfamiliar with web development so I figured that was normal. Only after several negative experiences I researched them and read reviews that were similar to my experience (and the price I should've paid for the scope of my project was $150). After experiencing them being "on leave" very often and the scope of my project not progressing, I asked to cancel the job and be refunded, which Puremba said I was able to do when I signed up. Now, they said the job was "complete" and no money back. I had zero understanding of what the meant by that but it confirmed my suspicion that they're, best case, not straight forward. Fraudulent, even, perhaps. Anyway, don't use them. I learned the time-intensive and humbling way. read more
