We walked in without an appointment and rather late in the day, yet the person who met with us was very professional and genuinely wanted to help. The problem was our situation was quite unique. My goddaughter is in the Cal State system and could not pass her math exams. She has a math learning disability and despite so many other tutors and other types of help, she just couldn't get passed her match course and it was jeopardizing her status at the university. She had a final test coming up and if she passed, she would fulfill her math requirement at the university and be allowed to stay, but if not, she would be dis-enrolled from the university. Add to it, she only had ten days until the test. No pressure at all. Normally tutoring for this would occur over several weeks, even several months and we only had 10 days. I explained the situation to the person at the office and I really expected her to smile and say, sorry we can't help you. Instead, she did smile but told us she understood the critical nature and would do everything to help. She made a couple of calls and found us a tutor willing to help. To make it even more convenient, the tutor agreed to come to us and tutor my goddaughter at my home instead of making her go to their office. The price was absolutely reasonable when you go online and look at other tutoring services. Bailey was the tutor assigned and on the first day she showed up right on time. After the first session my goddaughter already felt more confident and felt Bailey's methods and way of explanation were helping her greatly. This went on for the ten days and Bailey even came by the morning of her exam just for a quick refresher and prep in case she had any last minute questions. The bottom line... my goddaughter passed her exam! If I haven't expressed the significance of this, it really needs to be emphasized. My goddaughter was in her second year of college but just couldn't get passed the math. It took awhile before they even figured out she had a math learning disability but despite using their own tutors and tutors from the university, she just couldn't get passed that class. She has been a perfect student minus the math and unfortunately this situation has been a great amount of stress for her for the past year wondering whether or not she would be able to continue at the university or not. Coupled with the fact that she only had days left to prepare for what was going to be the "make or break" test of her college career. We had tried many other people and methods all of which failed to get her passed this stumbling block. And it needs to be mentioned the people at this center, Allison Dery, Director of Services and Bailey, our tutor, need to be commended for their help in a very unusual circumstance. Again, when we went in I fully expected them to tell us they couldn't help in such a short amount of time but they went above and beyond to help. Not only that, but they made it more convenient by coming to our home and there was a lot of paperwork they just waived for expediency. They were extremely accommodating and it can't be emphasized enough. If your child is having problems, I cannot give a high enough recommendation for this place and their services. Truly professional!

We have 4 kids which can be a lot for me, let alone a care giver. They are 11, 7, 4 and 1. My husband and I didn't want to have to deal with different daycares, after school programs and prices so we decided a nanny was the way to go. We found Bloom Care online and reached out to them. Emily got in touch with us promptly and we gave her a list of what we wanted in a nanny. I thought our criteria would be hard to match. Not only did she match us with the perfect nanny, she gave us better. She did her due diligence and we could not be happier! A few friends have also been matched with great nanny after our experience. Bloom Care has a gift and they're the best agency I've ever used! Thank you Bloom Care! I wouldn't hesitate to utilize their services.

After applying to a position that looked like a great fit for me, I was contacted just minutes later by Emily & Nikole! It was my first time working with an agency so I didn't know exactly what to expect but they have exceeded my expectations! I had an initial interview with Emily to get screened and placed into the agency and she was amazing and such a great help. She matched me with an amazing family very soon after that and assured me her work didn't stop there as she would be available as a mentor as I navigate through my nanny career. Bloom Care even offers back-up care so if there's a family that needs last minute care, coverage or even date night babysitting, they will reach out via email and ask if you're available to work so there's plenty of opportunities for work even if you're already a nanny or just looking for babysitting gigs! I love how nice, responsive and helpful Bloom Care is! I highly recommend them whether you're a nanny looking to find a job with the help of an agency or a family looking for your perfect nanny!!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you end up using Michelle, it will ruin all other agencies for you…read more I am a professional career nanny. I have over seven years of nannying experience, five years of teaching experience, and more. I have a B/S in childhood development as well as my MAT. When I began my search for a nanny-family in LA, I did my due diligence by shopping around looking at multiple agencies. I found that Michelle had the TOP RATED AGENCY ON MULTIPLE SITES and wanted to take a closer look. I read through every. single. review. I thought to myself, "Really? Every single person had a positive experience with this agency? That's just not statistically possible if she's really working with this many people..." I decided to set up a meeting. I drove to her office where we met to discuss particulars (what I'm looking for, what families are in the market for a nanny right now, what ages/salary/commute/hours I'm looking for) and the moment she opened the door and greeted me with a giant smile and her upbeat, positive attitude, I felt like just working with HER was my perfect placement! Once we started the process, Michelle was completely professional while also refreshingly honest and realistic in her suggestions. She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and she only suggested me to families that she knew had the potential to be a "love match!" After looking at a few potential matches, Michelle called me to tell me that she had "found my family!" She said, "This is the one. Please go for an interview and see for yourself." So I did. This is the part of the review where I'm going to get annoyingly emotional. Not only did the family and I immediately "click," but Michelle had made sure that all of our stats were in alignment. The age range, schedule, amount of hours, commuting time, pay rate, expectations and needs happened to all align with what I was looking for. It was LITERALLY the PERFECT PLACEMENT!!!! Coincidence? I think not. Michelle is highly intelligent, professional, personable, understanding, diligent, experienced, communicative, and pleasantly charismatic and I owe my job satisfaction directly to her. Now that I think about it, maybe I should send over a bottle of wine. Thank you, Michelle, for just being so incredibly good at what you do. As I mentioned earlier, when I started this process, I read through every one of your (5 star) reviews and thought, "There's just no way every single review can be five stars..." and now here I am adding one more.

It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !

I managed a team of over 150 people between sales, recruiting and our resources. If you don't want to read something like this direct quote, I would suggest looking for a better agency.... "Tired of listening to details about your personal life, I sent you (replacement nanny) the next day, August 21st." In my opinion, this woman, Ann, the owner of the company is incompetent at recruiting. My take away is that she is posting ad's for nannies, makes them take a personality test that she claims to have created (results were never produced so I can't even give a review of the test) and uses this talk of a test as a selling point. What doesn't make sense is that how can you make a match off of only one person's test results? This would be like eHarmony only making the guy or girl take the test right? I asked Ann if I should take the test. She told me she'd send a link, but never did. She also said it's graded on the nanny curve so the results probably wouldn't mean anything. (Whatever that means). Seems like a flawed concept. What Ann is missing is "listening" to the customer. She acts like she knows what's right for you--she tells you she knows what's right for you. (she didn't meet me in person, or meet the nanny in person before she sent her to interview. She didn't check her current references bc the current nanny asked her not to, and she didn't check any references or background check before she had me meet her. She was that confident...in what? The nannies verbal phone story? By the way, she's also giving pay-raises to these girls so of course if you're making $18/hr, $20/hr is going to sound enticing. I spent 2 hours discussing the job with and I put together a 5 page job description with details that Ann edited so she knew exactly what I was looking for. She insisted that she had very bad luck with girls in their 20's and suggested that I pursue someone older and more mature. Personally I thought someone younger would do better with the tech support I needed during the day when my daughter is in school all day. So the first candidate she submits is mid-20's but tells me she is ultra mature and has been doing PA work for the current family. She actually refers to her former family as "psycho" (see photo of Ann's words) and says she is looking for a new job because "they bought a Porsche instead of giving her a raise". I told her that sounds pretty entitled and she said they were working her to the bone. She also said they moved from Point Loma to Encinitas. I told her I was working on the same type of move and she said it wouldn't be an issue--it was the former family that was the problem. (this is all just a recruiter believing every word their candidate says) Regardless, the girl interviews well and I'm putting faith in this PhD so we move forward. After she signs the offer the girl tells me she forgot she a few days off next week for her birthday party in Arizona. Ok...not good. This is the most basic recruiter question that Ann should be asking and telling me bc I already waited 2 weeks for her to give notice. (as that turns out, it wasn't actually 3 days, it was 8 days) NICE. (the girl took off 46 hours during her first month on the job) I kept Ann aware of all of these things as they were happening....texts and emails. The nanny is 2 hours late day 1. Why? Because the former boss--who Ann refers to as "Psycho", went into labor and the girl claims to have slept there. The next day she's 2+ hours late bc she's taking the former families dog to the vet. I kept Ann aware of everything going on. Ann tells me that the girl is too immature and not focused on work. I didn't see a replacement candidate until Aug 22. Ann finally sends a lady that has had 8 nanny jobs in 10 years and 1 job in an office 8 years ago that she says in writing can start on Sept 1. I interview her/not qualified & she's not avail until after Sept 22 because the replacement nanny tells me in person that she needs to "find herself on a solo road trip". PASS I let the nanny go bc she simply not qualified for the job-- a complete lack of trust--she had the car seat in wrong, she signed my name on a check, she put meatballs on top of mashed potatoes with red sauce (yuck) While I'm waiting for Ann to send a 1/2 way qualified candidate for over a month biting my tongue with the current girl, I decide that took much has taken place and a heart to heart conversation has to take place with the current girl. The girl accepts no responsibility for anything and quits. I tell Ann that the two people she's sent as replacements aren't even close and not worth anywhere near $40,000/yr. I nicely wrote, if she doesn't want to work on the search, I'm ok with some type of refund. She responds back with, "don't ever call my office, contact my attorney, we have fulfilled our obligations"
