Needed a new barber and a lot of research brought me to Benjamin at this small, old-school barbershop on Thomas. I not only received a fantastic haircut but had a fabulous time. Benjamin is the most customer focused barber I've ever seen. He's been here 8 years from Manhattan, and brought with him a clear passion of making people happy with their hair. He took the time to understand what I wanted then made it happen with laser focus. His posters help anyone who is stuck for ideas, and if you're really brave you can ask him for a #25. If you want a solid, quality haircut from a master at the craft, text Benjamin and set up an appointment. read more

Benjamin provided a GREAT scissors cut. I have been looking since the COVID shutdown was lifted for a barber who can/will do a scissors cut. Benjamin is THE BEST! Also very pleasant and customer oriented. read more

He is a great and professional barber. Always does a fantastic job. Highly recommend Ben. His shop is quiet. I make an appointment and he's very efficient. Perfect cut! read more

Benjamin the Barber, he is professional and precise. His knowledge, skills and experience provide the customer with true wisdom and good judgement. read more

Really great and professional haircut. Always reliable. Always willing to work me into his schedule. Really appreciate the service!

Expensive misleading pricing for a haircut place. Before I could ask the final price it was too late. Also a homeless problem as the barber has to lock the barbershop at all times unfortunately. Great service otherwise. read more

Loved my haircut at Gentlemen's Barber Shop when I was in Phoenix visiting family. This place was not too far from my hotel near the airport, so it fit the bill. I was able to schedule an appointment via Yelp, but don't lol. The owner doesn't have a great opinion of Yelp and prefers his reviews and bookings via Google Maps. No worries, I'll cross post this review. Good price and good conversation on top of the good haircut. What more can you ask for? read more

Probably one of the best cuts I've gotten in the states. Finally a barber who has skills and not only runs the Maschine over our head

This place is the best place to get a haircut! Benjamin is an old school master who takes of everybody like a stone cold pro. Perfect for adults and kids. And remember, a good haircut isn't cheap and a cheap haircut isn't good. Mark Mayfield NBC News read more

I flew in from Vegas for Superbowl. Saw the reviews and gave it a shot. Best old school barber Ive ever had. If you are looking for a pro and old school feel this is the guy. Benjamin was awesome! read more

Brought my grandfather in for a hair cut, very clean, well kept barber shop. The owner is super friendly and does a great job. Lots of parking in the front is a huge bonus! read more

The old school barber is good, but they are not happy if you don't make an appointment first. They may ask you a lot of questions if you are new there. A haircut is $30 and under, plus a $10 tip. read more

Great, old school barber, very proffetional, very courteous, will be my regular barber. . .

There is no better place to get a haircut!! I have been trying to find a good barber since I moved to Arizona over 3 years ago. Everyone was very inconsistent with my hair until I met Benjamin. He will get you in/out the door within 20-30 minutes, and his work speaks for itself. Excellent barber and I will keep coming back here!! read more

I've been getting my hair cut by Benjamin for 3 years now. The price is great, the haircut is great, and on top of that, Benjamin is a super nice guy. There is no need for me to go anywhere else. read more

This was my first cut since the lockdown, so Benjamin had his work cut out for him. The place is very clean: Clorox spray and wipes in plain view and Benjamin cleaned the chair throughly before I sat down. Social distance regulations now require no waiting inside so everything is by appointment. Appointments are very easy as he prefers text messaging. I got my appointment quickly, despite it being the first weekend barbers could open their doors. Benjamin was wearing a mask so everything is in full compliance. He was constantly cleaning his scissors and equipment throughout the cut. After about a minute you will figure out he knows what he is doing. His scissors are almost as fast as his electric razor. I was in and out in about 10 minutes with a 5 star cut. I will definitely be a regular now. read more

Walk in and be taken back to a true "gentleman's Barber" clean, classic and crisp! Normally closed on Saturdays, Benjamin opened up shop and cleaned up my man nicely. He listens to what you want and gets it right. Couldn't be more happy that we've finally found a barber who can get the job done! read more

Best haircut and beard trim ever! So professional. I highly recommend this barber shop. Scissor cuts if you'd like.

Probably the worst barber I have ever been to! This man Benjamin does not know how to listen, I ask for a simple trim and come out with a totally different style of hair that doesn't even look good and the back of my head is so uneven it looks like he closed his eyes to cut it! I will never go back to this barbershop again!!! read more

Benjamin is the perfect example of old school barber. Great cut quick, not fast. Price is right, quality is great.

In town for business for a month from Seattle. Badly needed a haircut and chose this shop because of the Yelp reviews. My hair is very straight and difficult to cut, and Benjamin did a terrific job. He listens, asks questions, and was skilled with the scissors. Excellent cut. read more

Best barber! Benjamin strives to make his customers happy and satisfied. We have never had any issues with him and have been coming to him for a little over a year now. Amazing guy! read more

Great place to get a cut! It's a small shop and not really a place you'd think to get a great haircut at but I can assure you that the man in there gives great cuts. I pulled up and there wasn't any cars outside except for one which I'm assuming is his and it made me have second thoughts about going in but I'm glad I did. Since there was no one in there I was able to get my cut immediately and he took about 5-10mins to cut it the way I liked it. So if you like a quick and nice cut this is your place read more

The barber has good skills and would be a better barber if he didn't rush. I appreciate the effort in saving time but haste makes waste. Do the job and do it the right way, don't rush thru the job. Also, Benjamin values his friends more than the average customer Joe, so if there are customers already in queue, he will move his friends to the beginning of the 'line' with the excuse that his 'friends' had previously texted him and made the arrangement. Unless all customers are made to make appointments, you should honor the First Come, First Served rule. Benjamin will rush you off the barber chair, in order to service his 'friends' faster. I will have to skip this establishment for a better one that doesn't cater to "friends" read more

Benjamir is awesome. Great service at a fair price. He took his time and did a wonderful job. My new go to guy.

Just had another great experience here. Benjamin is friendly, quick and provides an exceptional cut. This will continue to be my go to shop!
