You can tell the owner really loves dogs and is passionate about dog rescue. She does not discriminate against bully breeds. I have been using the daily dog walking service for well over a year, and I have also used the overnight care option. I provided all the information that I wanted up front, and over time I have provided extra updates and requests. My dog can be a little reactive at times, and I am always worried about how people will handle that, but I haven't had a single concern arise. I have been home several times when the walkers come by, and my dog is always loose and relaxed when he sees them, and happy when I come home. I get updates after every walk so that I know for certain my dog got out and how it went. I got updates every morning and night that I was away. Communication is very important for me, and they are fantastic at it. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Highly recommend her.

First off, I cannot comment around My Cat Sitter's cat sitting visits in your own home - I believe…read moreshe would do a good job, but do not have experience with that. I cannot recommend My Cat Sitter's cat boarding service where the cat(s) stays in her home. She is great with the cats, but the room where cats are boarded is not clean - there were stains and old litter on the floor, and must have been a lot of smells left behind by the previous cats who stayed there. The house is also quite loud (two small dogs, plus loud people), so if your cat(s) prefer a quieter place, you may want to reconsider. Our recent experience there resulted in two very stressed out cats, who are still trying to recover a day later. Like I said, the owner is great with the cats, and appreciated the availability on short notice. But because of the cleanliness and loudness, and how stressed our cats were as a result of their stay, I can't recommend this service of My Cat Sitter.

My service dog and I faced awful treatment at this clinic…read more Called the clinic before departure so they knew I'd be driving thru delays. No problem, they said. I pull in to the parking lot on time. Then, because I am disabled, took a few minutes to attend to myself before going in. Everyone working there immediately tried to turn us away for being "10 minutes late" even though we weren't, and we'd called ahead. They never told us anything about late penalties. They ended up letting us see a vet who called my service dog "he" the entire time even tho she's obviously a female dog. The patient room was terrifying - it had a scary unmarked door at the back with a peephole pointed at me, leading to some kind of backroom. Creepy. The vet palpated my service dog once, then TOOK MY SERVICE DOG AWAY FROM ME into that backroom, claiming she would get a temperature. She shut the scary, automatically locking door behind her and kept my service dog in that backroom for 15 minutes! You *NEVER* *EVER* separate a service dog from its disabled owner. I sat alone in the patient room, feeling unsafe and didn't know what to do. I never consented to having my service dog taken out of the room. Does it take 15 minutes to get a temperature? Couldn't they take the temperature in front of me, right there in the patient room where patient examinations happen? Did they hurt my service dog?? How will this interfere with her training??? It was traumatizing! Punchline is they did nothing to help my service dog. They were also disrespectful about COVID safety. Know your rights: https://novascotia.ca/servicedogs/
