This review is coming from someone who has had anxiety and dental phobias for years, so much so…read morethat I hadn't gone, even to get a cleaning, in about 5 years. I've since visted GFD twice in the past two weeks. Professional, check. Knowledgeable, check. Friendly, check. Gentle, check. Relatable, check. Above all of that, I kid you not, this place is a nice day at the park. From the moment you walk in the door it's like being welcomed in by long time friends. Then before you know it (if you're emotionally open for it of course), you realize you've found yourself in a comedy club, smiles and laughter abound and the positive energy is just everywhere. Enter the space with "the chair", the once anxiety producing object carries only a relaxing welcome here. More friendly and helpful faces talk you through everything, the chair goes back and the concert begins. Yes you read right, concert. There is no time to feel nervous when you feel like you're in such good hands, you can just enjoy the show. The staff are so in tune with each other it's like watching a dance happen above you. You've got you're "safe gesture" since you can't have a safe word, and your comfort is checked in with frequently. I thought for sure I was going to request Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for my procedure today but Bei Li was so gentle, I didn't even feel the Novocaine. Like an hour at the spa, I had to resist closing my eyes to complete the relaxation for fear that they may have thought I'd passed-out. Bonus, as genuine as they are in their interest and care of you, they don't ask you questions that require long answers WHILE they are working in your mouth. B O N U S. Never in my life have I felt so taken care of, welcomed, and relaxed at dental appointments. I feel like I have new friends and I actually look forward to going in to see them again. This place WILL change the way you experience dentistry.

Arijeta Limani, Gentle Dental Derry Front Desk staff, double charged be back in April 30, 2026. She…read morecharged me $958 instead of $570 for my crown procedure, which I caught the mistake immediately. Instead of issuing a refund of the difference, she charged me again $570 and told me that she will issue the refund once the $958 charge actually came through because she can't issue a refund immediately. After numerous calls since April, she still has not issue the refund with a bunch of excuses and lies. At one point, she left me a voicemail on Monday stating "I forgot to give you a call back regarding I don't know what you wanna talk to me about you should've gotten that money back. They just sent me an email and that they refunded you back that money." But I never see the funds back in my account and by Thursday that same week, she said "oh, they can't issue the refund until your son claim is cleared. So why telling me that refund has been issued if it was never issued. And today, after weekly call that I have to call and follow up because she kept saying she will call but never did, she said "I don't want to deal with you anymore, the corporate office is dealing with it because you were unprofessional ". She took no accountability of her mistake, very good at lying and now handing over to someone else while still holding my $958.-. Just be careful when processing your payment with Arijeta because she clearly has no clue what she is doing. Its too bad because the doctors and hygienists are nice.
