Went in for a filling. They made me pay up front for my portion. The procedure didn't need anesthesia and I was done within 30 minutes. Months later I received a bill for roughly $100 in addition to the $200 I had already paid. They billed my insurance for a four surface filling when clearly it was a two surface and I only know this because my friend is a professor of dental hygiene and has practiced for 30+yrs. I would have just paid the bill not knowing this. When I questioned the charge they made me come back in for Dr. Frankauski to evaluate the tooth. This time I brought my friend in with me. She said we were splitting hairs (whatever that means) and said it could be a 3 surface filling. I made them refund my insurance and rebill it! My refund should be coming soon. My concern is how many other people has she done this to. This is fraudulent billing and unacceptable! read more

Thought I had a good experience with Gentle Dental Tilton, NH. Had teeth pulled and dentures made, went back numerous times for adjustments on dentures. Now I can not wear them, they hurt my gums and food gets under them. Constantly was to,d that I had to get used to them. I called their office 4-5 times last 2 weeks in January and first 2 weeks of February to get back in and was completely ghosted by this practice, messages were left with a Samantha who told me she had just started at the practice. Dentures do not fit and paid approximately $4,000 for the top and bottom, also tried to schedule a cleaning for my remaining teeth and nothing from them. My experience at first was good, I went here for a couple of years. Once, I was running about 2 minutes late for an appointment and the front desk person actually called my wife to see where i was. (I was in route). I don't know the law, but some have told me that was a Hippa violation. Anyway. After that i started looking for a new dentist and missed a scheduled appointment. (Because they schedule you 6 months in advance). They wanted $50 for the missed appointment. I didn't agree so I did not pay. Now, the interesting thing is the rest of my family decided to stay with them. Fair enough. You would think because the rest of the family was still their clients, they might just forget about the $50. Nope. I received a letter they placed the $50 in collections. Wow! Because I have such a high credit score, I will pay it gladly because it inspired this appropriate review. I get it. Missed appointment policy is what it is.
