The staff are truly angels on Earth who treat you and your loved ones with the utmost love, care, dignity and respect. Immaculate, peaceful, serene.... In addition to the nurses, they have other resources who gently offer and are never pushy...i.e. music therapy, Chaplains, and a social worker. The most descriptive word I can use is compassionate. Our time is not up here yet, but I felt compelled to offer our experience. They have put us all at peace.

All of the staff we encountered were professional, very caring, and had many years of medical experience from varied medical disciplines. They were amazingly accessible and encouraged us to call any time day or night when we had questions, and they moved very quickly to meet my father's needs as those needs changed. They cooridinated care with the assisted living which was very helpful. My father bounced back well under their care (with their staff generaly seeing him in person 5 days a week) and it alleviated a lot of care-giving by us the family. When a new medical event occurred for my father, they sprang into action to provide comfort care and prepare us for his final days and hours. Very thankful for all their care of us in the challenging season. It provided for his passing in the environment he wanted (not in a hospital) that far exceeded what we could have done on our own.

I know he was dying but he had a stroke that night. Everything changed and I wanted him checked by the nurse. I called and nobody came. Finally the supervisor came and told me they were short staffed and didn't have anybody who could come. She told me to call a neighbor! I called 911 and they took him to the hospital. I got a different hospice there called Northeast Georgia and they have been wonderful. Family let me down. Shame on them!
