I decided on the screen and it took about a week for it to be received and replaced. I was told that the computer would be ready at a day and time. I showed up and was relatively calm when it wasn't. The woman in the shop called the tech guy and he offered to have the laptop delivered because I don't live in the area. The cost to repair was lower than the estimate so I am less peeved about the delay, and we did receive it the same evening. And the tech managed to manipulate the cover so it fit together.
