The only thing I would change is that I was texted and emailed multiple times about reviewing this place the same day and the next morning.

When I called asking for a quote, I was told I will call you back. When he called me back I was quoted $180.00. For just hemming 2 dresses and 2 small tucks on the side of one of them ? I found someone that could do it for almost have the price. When I went back to get the dresses he told me the other tailor won't be able to do it for that price. Basically saying they are lying to me. I said if that is the case I will come back and use him. He told me NO he has no time now for me, do not come back. Very unprofessional. People are allowed to shop around and get quotes. A good business would understand that. I know a lot of people have had a good experience with this tailor, but mine was not. Everything felt very rushed and he was rude.

It was thrown into a machine with regular clothes and treated no differently than a regular cotton tee. Very distressing. I can't be certain that they caused it but they didn't fill me with confidence when I spoke to them about it. They actually showed no concern at all for how the item was handled. I don't even know if they know what gray and cashmere is. The blossom Road location told me I might have better luck at their location when the owner is around. I like to think that maybe I caused the tear myself by accident by not being careful. I'm going to go to Eagles in Penfield just to be safe because this whole situation was really upsetting for me. The shirt costs too much for the business to replace. I should have documented the condition of the shirt before sending it in. I'm going to have my special clothing cleaned elsewhere to be safe. I have had no issues with letting them handle my Italian wool suits.

Took a prom dress to be cleaned and altered. We were shopping around for a seamstress to fix…read morebeading on the back of a dress and add skin toned mesh material to the bust for modesty. After speaking to the seamstress and describing our desires IN DETAIL, she advised she could fix the beading. I also asked to add skin toned mesh to the bust of the dress for modesty. I specified that if it could not be done or if she could not find the material that it is fine and it could be left as is. All we needed was the beading since the dress fit perfectly and Asked to add the skin colored mesh but we thought why not hem it too since it was offered. This part was offered and not requested but I did accept. I called a 3 days after the pick up date and the dress wasn't ready so I asked when it would be and then they said a few hours. Seemed strange but we were excited. When we picked up the dress, the beading was never touched at all. The bust was patched with a square piece from the bottom of the dress. The dress still had a slight smell (prior to dropping off the smell was stronger because it was stored for years which is why it needed to be cleaned). On top of that, the dress and HAD STAINS THAT WERE NOT THERE BEFORE. My daughter was heartbroken and disappointed. The owner reduced our bill from 87 to 40 but I'm upset that I paid anything being that they ruined the dress, stained it, didn't clean it thoroughly , hemed it incorrectly, added the wrong material to the bust and didn't touch the beading which was the entire point of bring the dress in. We came out WORSE by bringing the dress in than we would have if we didn't bring it at all. I ended up LOSING AND EXTRA 100 dollars after bringing it to another dry cleaner and another seamstress. Not to mention this added weeks of trouble. Thank God I am a planner and started 6 weeks in advance of prom or we'd be out of luck. Things are too expense to pay 2 and 3x for the same service. After telling the story to a few people I realized they had the same issue with the same place. Sorry for the long post but I felt it was my duty to warn others.

Dropped off 3 suits for dry cleaning on 12/31, was told they would be ready for pick up by 1/3. So…read morefar so good... On pick up, things quickly went south. Thank goodness I checked the items in store, as I noticed 2 of the 3 pants in my order were missing. I notified the receptionist at the time, and we managed to find one of the pants attached to someone else's name. I was told they would reach back out over the weekend if they found my pants, or at least to give me an update. On Monday (1/6), I still haven't received any updates, so I called in to check. The phone was picked up by the same woman who had received my suits initially. On asking for updates, she took immediate offended tone and said to call back at 1, when the new truck would drop off orders. I explained that my clothes weren't missing because of a delay, but because they may have been given to someone else, and was told "You've tried to ask the same thing 3 times, but in a different order, if you ask again, I will hang up." So in the hopes of getting more context, I began asking her for if she remembers anyone else when I dropped off the order, but before I could get two words out, she actually hung up on me... Overall, service quality is perhaps the worst I've ever seen and the dry cleaning itself (for the pieces I actually received back, anyways) was mediocre at best. I'm saddened as this store used to be run by a nice couple which provided great service, but had recently retired. The store as it currently is being run is not even a shell of its former self and should be avoided at all costs.

I ended up spotting my suit just laying on a shelf, but they didn't dry clean it. So I had wait and I go to pickup the day before the wedding and the delivery guy wasn't there yet...so I had to go back a third time an hour later that day and finally got it. Long story short, way too much disorganization and stress for a simple dry cleaning, and I was still charged full price.
