Great limousine service! I got a party bus for my boyfriend's birthday and I came across Genesis Transportation. I liked the price out of all the companies I called in the San Jose area. A few days before my boyfriend's birthday, almost half of the people canceled so I reached out to Mike seeing if there was a smaller bus option. He was so accommodating to get us a smaller party bus just a few days before my boyfriend's birthday. We booked a Suburban for a day of wine tasting and Genesis Transportation was a professional experience all around. Mike was in constant communication with us, with regular updates leading up to the day reservation including what to expect with our vehicle, driver, and invoice. The morning of our reservation I received text messages on the ETA and arrival. Day of: The vehicle was spotless and everything we'd expect from a ride service. I recently hired Genesis Transportation to transport our 12 person fantasy league from San Jose to Morgan hill. The limo sprinter was a 14 passenger sprinter that allowed good space for of all us without feeling too cramped. We were also able to stream a video I had made for our group on one of the two tvs available in the limo sprinter. Mike was our driver and he was amazing! From the beginning he always communicated promptly and never any hidden fees about his pricing which I thought was more than fair for the hours and distance we were traveling. Mike was available at all times for questions before the trip and was very flexible about any stops we needed to make on the way to our location. Based on the great reviews we hired Mike at Genesis Transportation for a round trip to the San Francisco cruise ship terminal. His rates were competitive so we gave him a try. We were not disappointed. Mike was prompt and got us to the terminal within a few minutes of the target time despite very heavy traffic at the terminal. On our return, Mike had to fight more bad traffic, but was close to on time for our pickup. Our drive both ways was uneventful. Great service at a great price. Reached out to Mike at Genesis via yelp as well as some other transport companies. Mike responded very quickly with a fair rate for a black SUV to take a family of 6 to SFO. He sent a high quality invoice that could be used for expenses if that qualifies. I asked to pay 1/2 on the way up and 1/2 on the way down when I returned and Mike was totally flexible about that. The only hiccup we had was the return trip. We landed on a very rainy day and as I was clearing the plane, I got a text from Mike saying that due to the heavy rain he had a driver shortage, two cars broke down, and that I should find an alternative to get home. Needless to say I was not happy at 12AM in SFO and started scrambling to find an Uber XL while being glad I only paid for the way up. He said he was going to ask "affiliates" of his to connect with me. 10 minutes later while still in the customs line I got a text stating that he was personally on the way from San Jose, which was a relief. Where the 5 star review comes when normally it would have been a 1 or a 2 due to the above issue, is that one of my bags was delayed. Mike was super gracious about waiting around for an extra half an hour at SFO in the pouring rain (as I'm sure he rushed to get there for us) while we got that last bag. Finally, the SUV (Yukon I think) was spacious, clean, and well equipped. It easily fit all the luggage for 6 people for a 1 week international trip. Mike was on-time (early actually) to pick us up and he is very polite and professional. All in all, would absolutely use Mike and Genesis transportation again. read more

We chose Genesis Transportation for the great reviews. We were not disappointed! Mike, the owner, quoted a competitive fare, which we accepted. Mike was also our driver. We needed a ride to the San Francisco cruise terminal from San Jose. Mike was at our home 15 minutes early, which we took advantage of. And a good thing we did! We had planned to arrive at the terminal at 10:30 on Sunday Morning. The traffic along the Embarcadero to the drop off was horrendous. Traffic was stopped more than it was moving. Mike took it all in stride and eventually got us to the terminal just a few minutes behind our target time. On our return Mike had agreed to pick us up at 9:30 on a Monday Morning. Again, the traffic was horrible, but Mike persevered and picked us us just a few minutes behind our scheduled time. The drive back home was a delight. Mike had never dropped or picked up a customer for a cruise, so this was the first time he had seen a cruise ship up close. We had a great time telling him about our trip and the ship (it was HUGE - 1083ft long, 217ft high, and 155ft wide). He asked questions about the ship and the cruise and was genuinely interested in our experiences. The time went by quickly and before we arrived home with smiles all around.
