At the time, I was very unhappy with my current PCP due to his horrible office staff. Therefore, after a bit of research, I made an appointment with Dr. Retsagi. The practice is very small. His staff consists of a lab tech (I forgot her name) and the receptionist (Rita). Both are absolutely wonderful and always give me a very warm welcome. The only negative about Dr. Retsagi is sometimes he runs a little behind. Don't be surprised if you have to wait a half an hour, but I don't mind. It just shows he is taking his time with patients. As for Dr. Retsagi himself, he is everything a doctor should be - very kind, gentle, and very knowledgeable. He truly cares about his patients and always tells me to call him anytime if I have any problems. For my pre-op testing for the lap band surgery, he left no stone unturned. He carefully reviewed all my lab reports and also ordered some additional tests. He is also extremely fast about returning phone calls in emergency situations. One thing I forgot to mention when I first wrote this review - Dr. Retsagi's business hours are from 12-8PM, which is perfect for all us working people. If you have to reach him in the morning, leave a message on his voicemail and he will get back to you ASAP.

I've been concerned about this in the past, but what convinced me to make this move was the following... About 3 years ago I turned 50yo and asked Dr. Retsagi if I should schedule for a colonoscopy, but with confident assurance he said the a stool smear test was sufficient. I asked him again, and he again restated. Since I did not look forward to the colonoscopy prep (which is, btw, not all that bad as I found out) I went along with his advice. At least once more on my last checkup I repeated my concerns and was again reassured by him. Then, about 3 months ago my heart sank when I looked into my toilet after voiding to see bright red water. The colonoscopy revealed long existing polyps that I had to wait anxiously for 2 weeks to find out were benign. I was furious! For another example, a couple of years ago I complained to him about moderate hearing loss and asked if it's possible I had ear wax. He looked and said I was fine. 6 months later I went to a specialist who exclaimed that I had a lot of ear wax. This specialist told me it was certainly possible for a regular doctor to miss this, so I let it go. My new doctor looked in my ear and told me immediately that I now have ear wax buildup again, even without my complaining about hearing loss. I am through with Dr. Retsagi!

They seem to take pleasure with their tag team approach in harrassment. I have worked with many Dr. offices, personally and professionally and have never dealt with anything like this. It's a shame that staff like this defines the business. Again the Dr. is a skilled surgeon. I did mail letter to him in regard to my treatment but of course no response. I imagine it was intercepted and disposed of. I feel this is the only way to let him know of my experience.

Dr. Hoch as well as several other doctors were next to work and accepted my med plan. I googled five docs and only he had reviews. Typically that is not a good thing, as people usually use these forums to bad mouth the service. However, I found amazing reviews about his thoroughness and service. I couldn't agree more! In my initial visit to him, I could immediately tell that he actually cared unlike most health professionals that have been at it for awhile. Even though I heard him paged several times, I never felt rushed and we talked about not only my medical history but my families. I wasn't coming to him with an issue, but knowing that my 30 year old physical is around the corner I felt it was time to find a doc out here. Dr. Hoch is a diamond in the rough. I am glad to have met him, and I hope not to see him very often for my health, but I know that every time I have to see him it will be a pleasurable experience. Five stars all the way.

I am a runner and in my training for half and full marathons, Steve is my go-to. Steve not only treats acute pains, but also identifies the root cause(s) and ensures the treatment and recovery plan includes strengthening and other activities to ensure the origin of the problem is addressed. Through all of this, Steve works with his patients one-on-one, which is a superior method to most physical therapists' practices. Furthermore, Steve is good-humored, kind, flexible, and never fails to put his patients' needs before his own. After receiving physical therapy in a larger medical facility with the in/out philosophy and inexperienced staff, I wasn't getting the proper attention and not seeing any results for six months, I started to lose hope that the issue would ever be corrected. That's when I decided to change physicians and was referred to a new physical therapist, Steve Caronia. Steve's level of experience, knowledge, and attention is way beyond that of my prior physical therapist. He takes a holistic approach that doesn't just focus on what's hurting. He instead tracks my entire core, hip, and leg and has me participating in dynamic movements (as opposed to isolating muscle strength) that are meant to fix the root cause of the issue. Most other PT's put you on a table to mash the sore area, run you through 30 minutes of strength exercises, and throw some ice on the injury. I think the key difference with Steve is that he listens, asks the right questions, and has a thorough explanation of what he thinks is going wrong. His first question to me was about my prior rehab regimen. After testing my leg we realized that my injury had nothing to do with strength (which is the only thing my prior PT focused on) and all to do with improper movement / getting my muscles to fire correctly. On top of being knowledgeable, he's also one of the most accessible medical practitioners I've ever met. There were many times when I'd shoot him a text message on the weekend about pain or discomfort and he'd promptly respond with advice. He was also very flexible with my scheduling needs and made me feel like a priority.
