After a few "less than professional" experiences in London, I was a bit apprehensive. When I walked in, I received a friendly and compassionate greeting, was asked about my needs, and received suggestions for services that would be most helpful. I was ushered to a comfortable and well-appointed treatment room, where I prepared for the massage. My therapist was quick to enter and get underway. She did a most amazing job. With my predicament, the massage was intense...one of the more intensive ones I have experienced. The intensity was necessary and my therapist's efforts were appreciated! At the end of the massage, the therapist told me what to expect afterward with respect to healing. I was able to move with much less pain and am looking forward to a completely corrected back after the experience. I would absolutely recommend this business and will certainly return. I only wish I lived in the UK so I could return for a follow up more quickly!

We were absolutely exhausted from traveling and sightseeing all day, so we decided to find a place to get a nice massage. As soon as we got there, we were shortly greeted by a warm, welcoming lady. She was very sweet & made us feel right at home. She told us she was fully booked until 5:30 and it was about 3 at the time so we had a lot of time to kill. We asked if it was ok to stay inside. The lady really went above and beyond and offered to let us rest on the couch in her back room. She even gave me a charger to charge my phone! I was so touched by her hospitality. Eventually it was time for my massage. Another younger lady came into the back room and was surprised by our presence there lol. She asked us who we were and I told her I had a massage. She was so friendly and nice and she took me into one of the rooms to commence the massage. She was so attentive and always kept making sure if the pressure was okay (it was pretty hard and to be honest I struggled at times). She even answered a bunch of questions I had to help me better understand my body and my needs! After my massage, it was my friend's turn. I felt so relaxed that I went back to the couch to take a nap. I laid down and dosed off, only to be woken up again by the same lady who greeted us, as I saw her cover me with a blanket. It was so sweet and it reminded me of my mom back home. It was the best decision ever to stop by this place. I am so glad that I discovered this massage parlor and these amazing people. And despite the intensity of my deep tissue massage, I felt completely refreshed and ready to complete another walkathon. I highly recommend everyone to check this place out. Even though we only have about 2-3 more days left in London, we are definitely considering going back into this area just to revisit! Looking forward to crossing paths with these amazing, kind-hearted people again!

We arrived there and were greeted by our massage therapists. They were very nice. However it seems like the massage can be hit or miss. While I liked my massage, my partner thought his was just okay. My massage could have been better because my therapist had to take a couple of phone calls from a client who was on his way and needed to know about parking. Although she apologized for talking on her phone, texting, and even going out of the room for a bit and also stayed a little over to finish my massage in the hour, it was still kind of annoying. Overall a solid place though and one of the best prices in town. The massage place is downstairs in the same building as a hair salon, which is what you will see first upon entering.

It was a wet Sunday afternoon with gale for winds, so it was nice that upon arriving I was made to feel right at home. You pay up front and are asked to take your shoes off for a foot wash. This is something I've never had before so it's a nice touch. I guess if you're only going for a back and shoulders rub, this won't apply to you. After this, my feet were dried off and I was led downstairs to the studios. The decor and aroma of the place was really nice. Almost exactly what you'd expect a good professional massage parlour to look like. The lighting was great, and after allowing for changing, you get straight to it. The staff were really nice, my masseuse was wonderful and interesting to talk to as was the receptionist. After the excellent massage that released a lot of knots from my back and legs, I was kindly invited for a hot drink of ginger tea back upstairs. At no point did I feel rushed and I would definitely head back again.

From making the appointment, to arrival, and situation all the way to checkout and bidding them adieu, everyone was so very nice. Somewhat sad that this is not a given, but in London it certainly isn't! This makes Chi Yu stand out. I made an appointment for same day with Rie, who was great. I was escorted downstairs to the treatment area, and given 30 minutes of chair massage. Brilliant, just what I wanted. She was very communicative and definitely helped ease the tension. I probably need one every day for a month to really work it out, but this really helped. I took a menu and will definitely be back. I loved it so much that I returned at noon the following day to get my back massaged, since the prior day I didn't have time for an hour long massage.
