While I was grateful to have gotten attended the same day I called, it really did feel like I was fast money instead of a client. I have experience going to salons and I've never been treated like I did here. To begin she was very rough brushing my hair out with a comb instead of a brush and she went straight down running into knots and ripped some of my hair out instead of starting from the ends to the top to avoid any breakage. She gave me a trim that I agreed to and immediately I noticed she had cut my face framing pieces uneven. She also did a refresh on my already bleached hair with a fantasy color so when it came down to washing that out she basically wet all of the right side of my face taking my makeup off. She got water in my left ear as well just plopping her wet hands all over the sides of my face. Then she installed the tinsels from a kit that I had brought myself. Her demeanor was pleasant enough but I can't imagine trusting her with intricate work such as extensions that she claims she also services. When it came down to charging me she kept tapping on the register buttons and I grew concerned and hits me with a total of approximately $305. I really was confused I mean this is the high desert and they are charging hourly here. I'm a hardworking individual myself I get the hustle but the pricing breakdown truly did not translate to what I received, when I travel to San Bernardino and LA to upscale salons I have no issue paying that much because I receive much better care! And complementary drinks for that matter.. When I called the salon back the next day to try and resolve this issue I spoke with Joe I believe is his name possibly the manager? He told me I had to speak with the stylist directly and that was what I was trying to avoid I really did not like that he put me in that awkward position when I tried speaking to someone supposedly higher up about a service I feel like wasn't pleasant and a charge that was pretty high to just shell out for said experience. I wasn't a happy client and they didn't care. I booked an appointment to remove the tinsel the upcoming week since I went away for the weekend but I just decided to go to a salon near the hotel I was staying at in LA to remove the beads the next day because of how tight she had clamped some of them it felt sore. All to say I'll never go back and I wouldn't recommend this salon to any of my friends or family..
