When I was 32, with a husband and 3 children,I had a herniated disk (L4-L5). I had the surgery to…read morecorrect it and there were complications leading to 5 additional surgeries (all 6 surgeries were within 9 months) to correct it, leaving me with permanent nerve damage from my lower back to my right big toe and walking with a limp for the rest of my life. From there, my neurosurgeon referred me to Ronald T. Y. Moon, Jr., D.O.
Since my very first visit, he has listened to me and took me seriously, worked with me on which medications worked and didn't work, helped me loose weight (which has helped to lower my pain), he has even taken a small interest in my family, of which makes me feel like he honestly cares for me, my well being and my families well being. All of this has drastically reduced my pain level and now I can walk with barely limp that most people do not recognize.
Should Dr. Moon read this review, I truly want to thank you and your staff for believing in me and caring for me. Thank you for not making me feel like just another patient or number. Lastly, thank you for working with me and just simply being there as if I have a cheerleader in my corner, cheering me on and letting me know that I can accept what has happened to me and that there is a way that I can live and still do almost everything my husband and I have planned for the future of my family and marriage.
Should someone find themselves in need of proper care of rehabilitation and/or pain management, I would definitely refer Dr. Moon and his staff. The Industrial Athlete will provide you with physical therapy, pain management, do blood work to see which vitamins are low and will give you different opinions you can take to correct your blood levels, gives you a staff that cares and lastly, if he sees that you are fully rehabilitated, he will not keep you on a string just to make more money. He'll find the best course of action and once you've completed it and you are completely rehabilitated, he will say that you no longer are of need of his services.
To add to my previous review, if someone is truly wanting to get better, Dr. Moon can tell if you are or are not, and treat you accordingly. So if you honestly want to help get your life back from pain, Dr. Moon will do his very best to see that it happens!
However, if you simply want pain medications for the high or for whatever other reason, please don't waste his time or yours. He'll see right through it and suggest you go through rehabilitation for addiction of narcotics and/or cut you off and/or change your medications to ones that do not offer the same "high" that narcotics offer.
Should you have any questions in regards to my experience, I am more than happy to share more of my experience with Dr. Ronald Moon and The Industrial Athlete.
