made an appointment to visit my physician @ my appointment, I was told that I WAS OK and IT WAS NOT…read moreCANCER and to follow up in 6 months followed up with Eastern OBGYN in the 6 months only to be told I have stage 3 breast cancer and it's spreading fast. My initial visit when I discovered the lump was with Eastern OBGYN PC where I have been a patient since 2017. 6 months after I noticed the lump, I notified my physician, and was told I was ok. Later when I asked why was I told it was not cancer 6 months prior, was told by my oncologist that Eastern OB/GYN PC noted the abnormalities because of my age Not one person of any status within this hospital system has apologized for such a careless mistake. After 6 rounds of intense chemo, losing all of my hair.. A few weeks later, I myself discovered a huge infected hole on this very same breast that I was told by the doctors within this system that it was not an infection and I was ok and to go home. Again, I was ignored. I went to the ER a couple of weeks later and was told I had an infection and they had to remove the implant that was just placed bc of the reconstruction and mastectomy.
