The Record Pub is your one-stop shop for new and used rock-based records and tapes, vintage stereo equipment and Northwest-focused beer, cider, wine and assorted beverages served in our pub area or taken to-go. I dropped in today on my daily walk and I'm so impressed with what I saw! They the layout of the store is fantastic and easy to find and browse the records. So many records store have the records jampacked and it's incredibly time-consuming to go through to find what you're looking for or just browsing is a pain. That is not the case here as you will see by my pictures! There are so many records to choose from and they are constantly adding to their inventory. Today they have six beers on tap, one cider and they offer wine by the glass. I also have a case where you can pick up beard to go or drink it in house for a small corkage fee. I had a nice chat with the owners and look forward to chatting with them again soon. I wish The Record Pub an abundance of success and plan on stopping after work to have a refreshing drink!

Every time I come in the shop, I am welcomed with a warm greeting from the person behind the counter. I always enjoy talking with this employee about vinyl and my passion for music in general. The shop has really good variety and genres despite it's relatively small size. They have a great section of five dollar records and tons of records that are either priced at one dollar or two dollars. You get to spin a wheel if you spend more than $10 in one transaction. I often get free records from this very fun aspect of their sale model. The suspense with spinning is always amazing! Parking is open on the adjacent street and there is no payment required. There is a great coffee shop next-door and it's a really nice neighborhood to walk in before or after your visit to the shop. Plan for extra time if you can. A really awesome shop that offers vinyl with a few extras of cassette tapes and VHS videos. There are even a few DVDs and CDs if that's your thing. Definitely one of the better record shops in Portland! Be sure to check it out next time you're in Sellwood.

I stumbled upon Hiller's Emblem Shop when I was in a desperate need to have a shop make up some…read moreshirts last minute for a charity "2-Mile Deep Sand Beach Race" back in NJ to benefit families with children who are battling cancer. The T shirt design, albeit simple, had very deep meaning and the short timeframe made it very difficult to find a shop to accommodate my dire need. Hiller's came through for me printing out over 30 shirts within a matter of days. The Shirts came out great and everyone wore the shirts with pride as they made it through the finish line feeling a sense of accomplishment but humbled as we knew the deep meaning behind the shirt related to my best friend who just the previous week lost his daughter after a 5+ year battle with Hodgkins Lymphoma. May God bless Hiller's Emblem Shop and their willingness to help me when every other shop in the area was not able to.
