This park is lovely! It has a three different playground areas. One is specifically for kids 2-5 years old and the other two are for kids 5-12 years old. There's also a skate park, a couple volleyball courts and a baseball field. You have to bring your own net for the volleyball court. The baseball field has real bathrooms, but looks like they're locked when there isn't a baseball game happening. There was also a fence around most of the park.
There's lots of covered picnic tables, shaded benches, and trees that create lots of shade. There's are shade structures on the playgrounds, but they don't really cover any of the equipment sadly. There's also a working water fountain. Some of the covered picnic tables also had some charcoal grills available to use.
When we visited, there were also two porter potties, but I didn't go in them so I can't tell you how clean they were ... but they're porter potties, so ya know. lol.
Also worth mentioning that I only saw two homeless people at this park. They kept to themselves and it didn't seem like they were doing drugs. read more
