We drive 1.5 hours to get their grain, so it's pretty decent.
What they have going for them:
- our livestock like their grain
- pricing is a little cheaper than North 40 and similar stores
What they going against them:
- they charge 3% if you use a credit card
- they never contact us like they say they will, when our order is ready.
- anymore than several bags of a certain grain and you have to place an order, they don't keep much inventory readily on hand
My wife likes this place, I personally don't think it's worth the trip. They have a bunch of different types of feed but not readily on hand most of the time. Charging an additional 3% for using a credit card is cheesy and annoying. If you live locally then I guess it's worth trying. read more
