Although a small family run business, the customer service has always been top notch, especially compared to many other online auction companies I've encountered. Their site provides the best pictures with detailed description of items compared to the majority of online auction sites. Mr Manger has always provided help without asking, quality customer service, and very fair resolutions, regularly that I've experienced, and observed his consistent friendly support to other customers as well.

I call Thursday morning before pickup (pickup is on Saturday) no on answers I leave a message. No one returns my call so I call Saturday the morning of pickup and leave another message. I get a call back and they state the pickup day was two weeks prior however website was not updated. They inform me they don't know if they have my items that they will have to look for them. I reach back out today to follow up on my items and have to leave a message again. Wes Manger calls me back incredibly rude stating he can't drive but I can get them after the fourth. I kindly ask if I could come pickup the items where he begins to raise his voice and remind me he can't drive, asking me what world do I live in, etc. He then refused to let me get my items and said he was going to refund me. I do not recommend ANY business who berates their paying customers. Take your business elsewhere.

WHY 5+: pre, during, post auction - phone and email communication was quickly responsive, detailed, and courteous in response to questions. They also asked permission to place certain niche items (vintage jewelry) into another upcoming auction they determined would be a better fit, which I appreciated. The detailed photos they took and research done to document maker/year/materials for items were high quality and beyond expectation. Importantly also, their auction content was honest for buyers, showing any cracks or damage if items had such. The website was slick, easy to navigate, w/audible "dings" during the auction when something was bid on, along w/showing the bid offers. As a seller, there were no hidden or peripheral fees, Coastal Downsizing took a fair and straightforward % of the sales. Within ~2 weeks post-auction, I received a check for my portion of the sales and an emailed inventory of my items, listing what sold and what didn't, incl. the winning bids Overall: EXCELLENT service!

I showed up 12 minutes early for my appointment time and got kicked out with a "see this is why…read morethings get backed up and all jammed up." This was a very small lot with lots of traffic from buyers, and a very narrow shoulder to a busy road, to park on. I had to make a decision to show up when I did, or risk being late. At the time of my original arrival I judged that there was no way to be precisely on time in this environment. In all of my 50 years, I have never been castigated this way for being early, especially so loudly and publicly. You can bet I won't be early, or late, ever again. The owner is in way over his head and cannot efficiently handle a fast pace. Ask for help...I would have been willing.
