She had two teeth extracted, There was a consultation charge which took 5 minutes and costs $90 and the the cost of the extractions was $655 for a total of $745. This seems too high to me as I just had two teeth extracted by my dentist and it cost me $286. Also we waited 45 minutes in the empty waiting room before they called us to go back. After his assistant went over her paperwork, we waited another 45 minutes before we talked to the dentist. We were there 2 1/2 hours. I would not recommend this dentist.

While in the office gave me an x-ray that I did not ask for (they did x-rays on me just a month or two prior), but they insisted because they needed to see where the pain was. Decided to hit my tooth with a metal rod to see which one hurts when I already told the dentist which one hurt. I told the dentist I just wanted it pulled because the wisdom tooth underneath of it was already pulled long time ago. Instead, he wanted to refer me to a dentist that does root canals because they do not perform that procedure. So I would have to wait till the following week to see someone else (I guess there is more money in root canals than pulling a tooth). The dentist refused to give me anything for pain in the meantime, till I could be seen by the root canal specialist or do anything else for me. So I left the office in more pain then when I arrived. I went to a dentist down the street had a tooth pulled that same day. The only problem I've had since is Strongsville dental laser had the audacity to send me a bill for my exam and x-ray. They did absolutely nothing to help me while I was there and left me worse off than when I began. I tried to call them to work things out, but obviously money now is more important than retaining a client.

The pain kept me up all night, I was desperate. I set the appointment for later in the day at a further location than I would have liked so I didn't miss work. It was an hour drive from my job, 30 from home. They called me that morning to change it for earlier. Said it was either that or a different day. Since it was a Thursday and they were booked Friday, I had no choice. The appointment was fine and the Doctor did treat an infection in the tooth. They gave me an estimate for a root canal and crown. $1600. They offered their crazy high interest financing (35%) but, since it was near the end of the year and I could load the total on my FSA card AAAAND the girl said the estimate was good for 90 days ( google it- it is a thing) I thought " perfect! Ill schedule at the beginning of January when my card reloaded." Also- the surgeon only comes to the Strongsville location once a month. I called for the appointment in January and to my surprise they added $800 to my total!! The prices went up she said. But I had a 90 day guaranteed estimate!! Nope. The price hike invalidated it. But hey, I can use that high interest financing which would cost me an additional $875.00 Forget that! I luckily found a private practice that took me and took care of the issue for less than the initial estimate from Aspen. In a dire emergency, like if you need a infected tooth treated, and cant find anywhere else, (like seriously, TRY )fine. BUT keep in mind they only have a surgeon once a month, all services must be paid for on the spot, OR use that crazy high financing. And a guarantee means NOTHING here.

The first impression a patoent has. I should have turned around and left based solely on her. She did not acknowledge me until I said hello. Was busy chit chatting with another staff member. Even then she did not bother to look up from the computer and make eye contact or welcome me. She asked for information that had already been provided and it wasn't until I said they already had it did she bother to look in the file. Additionally, she was also rude when I asked if this is where I checked out. Said "where else would it be". Not that any staff member gave us a tour or directed us to the checkout area when the appointment was finished. I was not provided with pre appointment instructions. Did not receive any advanced paperwork or phone call. I did ask upon arriving if our appointment was today because I did mot receive a call in advance or any instructions. The response was "We do not call out. It is your responsibility to know when your appointment is". The Doctor was upset that steps had not been followed prior to appointment. As a result not all pain options were an option. Post appointment and after speaking with several other medical professionals as well as another oral surgeons office, it quickly became apparent that I was lied to. My son was put through unnecessary pain and trama as a result. All options should have been made available. My child begged me not to take him back. Cried because I did not stand up for him when he said he was in pain. Looking back I should have advocated for him. I didn't realize that he actually was in pain. I thought he was just scared. First oral surgery and being a child, or any age for that matter, I trusted the Doctor to do what was in my child's best interest and to reassure me that he was okay and not in pain. Do your research. Don't take a referral from another Doctor at face value. Ask questions. Find out if they have personally used them. If they would take their family to them. My referral came from an office who did not know them. Their staff was applaud at the way we were treated and apologized profusely. Please don't let this happen to you or anyone you love.
