And this medicine was not even a first choice for this type of infection back in 2005 - over 10 years ago!! I was horribly sick for several days until i researched the medicine and stopped taking it. They gave me a lot of attitude on the phone but then called in a new prescription, but i was very sick and wasted money on the first prescription which should have never been prescribed in the first place. He always treats our concerns seriously and brings resolution. The PAs are very adept and experienced in caring for each patient with skill and knowledge. The most comforting aspect is their determining what follow-up care is needed, even for some serious conditions that our family and friends have experienced. The office is impeccably clean and beautifully decorated for a peaceful feel. The staff is efficient and attentive, giving confidence that our concerns will be answered and attended to in a timely manner.

She talked down on me the entire time making me feel dumb for not wearing a mask and not "thinking about other patients" even though I tested neg at home and no one else had masks on. She then left the room and I could hear her out in the hall complaining to the other nurses how rude and unthoughtful not wearing a mask was and how dumb of people to not go out in public without one.. she then came back in and talked down on me AGAIN for not getting my flu shot but I work from home and opted out because I'm not around people only for her to tell me "well you must not be that quarantined if you got covid". Gave me my papers and I left. I will not be back. Poor quality care. Didn't even take my temp or other vitals or gave me a work up. As soon as they got the +result they stopped giving care.

I had a very bad rash on my face my left eye was swollen shut. She looked at me and proceeded to tell me to go to the ER really are you kidding me? I told her I was not comfortable driving that far as I wasn't comfortable driving to the urgent care that I was at I told her I was full of anxiety and this rash came on all of a sudden and I needed prednisone. She told me if I did not go to the ER death would result again are you kidding me? I proceeded to ask her again for a shot of prednisone and to give me a prescription until I can get into my family doctor to clear up my face. She was very rude, inconsiderate, ignorant, and didn't seem to care at all, she took a picture of my face, typed some crap into her computer and then walked out the door. The kid Cody, who is very well, courteous and had bedside manners as to treat a patient came in and gave me the shot and then left. The shot itself did not hurt but the medication did and it hurt really bad. I did not feel very well after I got that shot I told him it hurt really bad and he said that it was to be expected, as I proceeded to exit the building which I felt very disoriented and lightheaded I then got to my car and sat there for a minute put on the air conditioner to cool off because I felt very flushed as I started to feel a little bit better. I backed out of the parking spot and blacked out and hit the side of the building with my car and ended up in a parking spot. I do not recall hitting the building at all !! I then saw her flailing her arms out the back door of the building but not once did she come out to see if I was ok but took the time to call the police .. maybe she did maybe she didn't .. but I did not get any follow up messages from Amanda she did not call me. She did not text me. She did not reach out to me to see how I was doing. She did not come out to see how I was after I slightly hit the building which of course there was no damage to the building, but damage done to my car ! needless to say she is the most rudest nurse practitioner I ever encountered and I will never go back there again. I suggest anybody who sees her tries and ask for someone else she was basically in and out and moved onto the next person just to get more money into her pocket !!. I will never go to this facility again and the time and care she gave me is absolute zero she should not even be a nurse practitioner. I wouldn't even take my dog there.

been here multiple times. takes almost a month just to get a dr note for work they say it's ready…read morethe same day but i get there they either say it's not ready or the dr didn't sign it or the best part is they don't know what your talking about very unprofessional if i could give this place a half a star i would i would not recommend goin to geisinger urgent care.
