Their flat white was smooth and perfectly balanced. The milk was velvety and I wish I hadn't gotten take away and walked away or I would have ordered another. I am so happy to see places like this popping up. I, personally, take insult to when sugar is put in coffee (sorry Deutschlanders), but most coffee in this country needs sugar or something to help it. It is rare that I find places like this that offer such an ideal espresso that it does not need sugar. Take mind, I will NEVER go to a place where I'd need to put sugar in my coffee because that is a surefire indicator that the coffee sucks. But then again, I was a barista in Scandinavia for quite some time years ago so I am a bit of a coffee snob. No sugar needed at Kaffeekommune.
