I purchased insurance thru a Farmers representative online for Farmers insurance. I paid the…read morehomeowners premuim in full for the year 2023-2024. My credit card was charged. I was assigned to the Steven Mooney agency in Bristol Pa. My reps name at the agency was Seth. I purchased the policy in march and in the month of may, my policy was cancelled. I called the customer service office and spoke to a couple of agents who referred me back to the agency as they could not say why the policy was cancelled. I found out later, after I reported them to the state, that it was cancelled because of a lack of a signature. I was sent a letter from Farmers head office, where they said that they no longer required a signature for a policy. Seth also stated that because I did not carry a car and a home owners together, that he could not honor the policy and wanted to increase the premuim an extra $200 plus. as the discount should not be given. His company Farmers also called Mid Century, stated thru the state reps, who sent me that letter, that they WOULD HONOR the quote, (as I am sure they reviewed the policy) but Seth at the Mooney agency is stating otherwise. He is adamantly refusing to represent the company's wish to do right by their customers. would I say that I would recommend this agency to anyone?. Definately NOT... Buyer beware!

I grew concerned about my coverage levels, and gave Steven Mooney's office a call. Rebecca picked up the phone, was very friendly, and helped me understand my coverage levels. My fears were not unfounded; I was drastically underinsured. I had the state minimums only for auto, which included very little liability and medical coverage. If there had been an accident before I worked with Rebecca, I was at serious risk of ending up in bankruptcy! After less than an hour, Rebecca had not only helped me bring my coverage levels to a better place, she had gotten me several discounts which resulted in a much more competitive rate per coverage amount than I had at my last insurer. That short phone call took a load off of my shoulders! I can't recommend this agency highly enough. If you have even the slightest doubt that you are properly protected, or paying too much, give them a call!

First and foremost the reviews where the drivers who came across an issue and needed resolution…read morewith this agent Teanice Regarding her professionalism stated how unethical and condescending she was, is in fact true. There is never a front desk employee who stays in that office for more than a couple of months, so every time you phone, you will always speak to someone else. It's normal for a front desk employee to provide a customer incorrect information; but, if the driver becomes frustrated as a result of the misunderstanding, apologize and provide the correct information. Ms. Teanese's tone was arrogant, dismissive, unethical, unprofessional, passive aggressive, and absolutely contemptuous. Being told 2 different things by her and her front desk assistant, I became frustrated. I went down to her office and as I sat with her I stated that if i come across as unpleasant to her, it's because I'm unhappy with the process. She soon immediately cut me off and asked me why was I here and what was my question, I TRIED to explain to her the information she gave me and the misinformation her colleague gave me... before I can finish she cut me off and She wouldn't let me speak from there on because, as she said, "I don't know what he told you, but this is what I told you so to elevate your frustration," and she continued to speak in a degrading tone. I'm not sure who trained her in customer service, but my aunt and I have been with her since 2014, and if that's the "professional care" she gives her customers ? Than thats a problem. She continued escorting me from her office as she stood up and instructed me to leave because SHE was done with the conversation. Like stated before I still haven't had a chance to speak to her about anything else so as I walked out, and she turned around and went into the office before I even spoke to her. Like stated very dismissive & She's rude. I haven't given this lady any issues and this was the first time I had spoken to her directly. I left with the documents due to her wanting me to sign something I didn't get a chance to look over. So when things are good, then it's good but any conflict resolution that's needed be aware that she will not come across professionally at time. But if anyone has any issues here's the corporate number. 8007828332 Corporate customer care was very pleasant to deal with.
