If I could leave zero stars I would. Used to be my favorite shop in the city but when I went to the…read moreshop today (a 45 minute trip) the shop was closed and there was a sign on the door saying "back in 30 minutes" - I waited the 30 minutes, nobody came so I DM-d the shop and someone responded saying they would reopen at 5. Aka 2 hours later, not 30 minutes. When I called out how ridiculous it is to mislead customers like that the person on instagram was incredibly rude in response. Not worth the attitude, take your business elsewhere. UPDATE - whoever runs their instagram account "threatened" me by saying they would screenshot and post our conversation. 1. I do social media for a living and have for over 12 years. It's illegal for a business to post anything from a customer without explicit consent. 2. Still zero accountability that the "be back in 30 minutes" sign was put up in error as they actually meant that they would be back in 2 hours.

TL;DR -- This is the best smoke shop on the Upper East Side…read more Where to even begin? I've been coming here pretty much every weekday for a few months now (I look forward to my post-work pre-roll more than I look forward to my own wedding), and every single time, I walk out with a smile on my face. Big shoutouts especially to Kenny, Teddy, and Brian. These guys are essentially your Apple Store Geniuses when you enter the shop. I always get the best recommendations for strains and carts based off of my mood that week, and I trust that every product I purchase here is legit. I haven't had a single bum cart or a stale nug of flower. Everything is top-notch. There's something really great happening in New York, as smoke shops transition into a more polished and professional realm, but some of these places in the neighborhood are out to upsell you. Like, I get it, live resin is cool, but if I came in asking for a $40 Mad Labs cart, I don't want to be told about "how much higher" I'll get for just $25 more. Not naming names, but these guys would never do that to you. In addition to the staff expertise and quality of products, this place is just fun. There's a huge variety of beverages, including sodas, seltzers, and energy drinks, as well as a plethora of brightly colored classic (and international!) snacks. And the staff are good people -- pleasant to talk to, they remember your face and your preferences, and sometimes feel like old friends. It's really not their job to be nice to me. I mean, I'm gonna buy something either way. But they make a point to ask about your day, how are you, how's the new job, how's the wife, like, they remember that stuff! I don't know, I think that's really sweet. Anyway, thanks for coming to my Ted Talk on Munch & Cloudz. Later I'll be pontificating on the dangers of Juuls. COME SHOW THIS PLACE SOME LOVE!!

Each time I found the following as my experience: The person helping me was on his cell phone endlessly. And he did this while helping me and so it became both difficult and frustrating to tell if he was talking to me or the person on the phone. I bought this pipe/glass cleaner and when I read the entire label at home, to actually do the cleaning of the glass pipes required a two step process which involved to different products though from the same manufacturer. He never said a thing about needing a second bottle, or the second product to completely do the cleaning job. And though I tried to carefully explain to him what I was looking for in a lighter, what I purchased was not along the lines as I requested. I probably won't go here again, though they do have a very large selection of merchandise.
