It's the best place you could hope to go under the current laws and circumstances. It's beyond just not having a lot of options; it's far better than that. This is a hard decision but you can trust that everyone here is trying to provide you too-notch care. There might be a few protesters but it's not overwhelming and quite frankly, they're no good at it. Also, it used to be that you get it all done in one day but current laws make it so you have to come back a second or maybe third day. This makes it hard for hourly and tipped-workers to accomplish this but please just vote accordingly to rollback Roe restrictions.

I know it wasn't mine because of how cold and congealed it was. I was too medicated to say anything at the time. When I got home and could really talk again I realized I wasn't going crazy because there was still some on my back. The surgical abortion hurt so much worse than they said it would, and I've done natural childbirth. Even recovering from that wasn't like the weeks after. I went to my doctor weeks later because I was bleeding and it still hurt so bad I couldn't even work my office job most of the time. When I told the doctor I went to preterm she audibly groaned. Turns out my pain level was completely predictable for how far along I was, especially since she suspects I was up to a month farther along than I was told. I was never shown any ultrasound at preterm so looking back that was a major red flag. She also ordered a round of STD tests since I have no idea whose blood they sat me in or what else wasn't sterile. (I hadn't contracted anything, thank god.) She wouldn't say anything specific but I got the feeling she sees this a lot from women who go to preterm. Apparently it's not rare to still be bleeding by that long after, but the doctor was really concerned if preterm thought I wasn't so far along they might have used the wrong tools on me. I had to get a D&C and they found splinters of BONE in my uterus! Why did nobody tell me it could be this bad? I was told serious complications were really rare and I could expect to go back to normal life in no time! It was also so much worse because all that talk about "carefully extracting tissue" was apparently code for "let's BREAK BONES inside you and hope you don't notice." Now I have suspected asherman's syndrome because of how bad the bone bits were and the D&C I had to have to get them out. Preterm specifically told me when I asked that this wouldn't make me infertile. What liars. I did some research and asked my doctors and it turns out pretty much any doctor worth their degree knows scraping out a uterus can scar it. Every OB/GYN I've called except the ones at Preterm confirmed it. I've read the studies. I was either lied to or these people have no clue what they're doing. Honestly, at this point maybe both. Please don't let anyone here operate on you or sedate you. Actually, just go somewhere else for anything at all. I don't think they'd even get a simple urine test done right.
