Although we've used Geauga Septic in the past and were happy with their service, something must have happened to their crew in 2020. We had both 1000 gal tanks cleaned out last September, or so we thought. I have the cancelled check for $400.00. Over the past few weeks in all weather conditions we noticed an unmistakable odor in our yard in the area of the tanks. When I called Geauga Septic to ask why this would happen so soon after a pump out, the owner told me various reasons and excuses that do not add up. Our sump pump is working well, no odor inside the house to indicate a clog, the ground has not been especially wet and the system is not old. There are only two of us in this household and we are gone much of the time. Another company came out to find our tanks quite full but otherwise the system is functioning properly. End result, I do not believe Geauga Septic pumped us out last year and the owner is not about to make amends in any way. read more
