I traded in an amp but was told it had a "foul" odour. It was sent back to me for which I had to pay the delivery costs. On receiving it I opened it up and my colleague and myself found no such odour. Not surprising really as it was only 5 months old and if anything still had that new fresh smell. If there was a zero I would rate them a zero. They sent my compressor pedal to the wrong address after 2 months and they never responded to any of my emails. They sent the pedal to an abandoned tire shop. Hopefully this gets someone's attention at there shop read more

Bad customer service, bought a guitar case, arrived multi damaged and customer service tried avoiding their risponsability. Had to be refunded by PayPal as they stopped communicating. Awful service, be aware!!! read more

I will never ever use gear 4 music or recommend very disappointed I will never ever use gear 4 music again and will not be recommending them either for they have wasted five days of my life after I paid next day delivery which never came to phone them every day to be told every day they promised it will come the following day and it never did the last straw was been told on Saturday it definitely will come sunday I waited all day till 5.30 to be told its coming Monday ...I feel like they took the mickey out of me and fobbed me off and did not care as a few word of a apologies is not good enough and I cancelled my order and want my money back I feel I should get some kind of compensation for all my wasted time I had to endured as I booked a week off to sort xmas gifts ...places to go and things to do and due to being messed about full of promises that was broken every day I got nothing done I am very disappointed and upset with my ordeal ...I will never recommend this company to no one!!!! read more

*BUYERS BEWARE* - Item arrived as scheduled however I was out and my daughter (for whom the gift was intended) accepted the delivery. The SDP-2 Stage Piano by Gear4music + Complete Pack, White arrived in boxes without any covering thus ruining any surprise. We as a family are devastated that any company could be this stupid at this time of the year and ruin what is always the best part of any gift, the surprise, particularly when Father Christmas is involved. I have used G4M a couple of times now. They use probably the best courier available. No more sitting at home wondering. On my most recent order I received a message telling me a one-hour delivery window on the day of my choosing (it would have been delivered the day before which would have been the day after I ordered - even though I didn't pay for 24 hour service! - but I moved it back a day as I would have been working - all online with the courier with no fuss or extra charges). The delivery driver arrived within 10 minutes of the start of the window, giving me plenty of time to get on with other things. I have had to return things before and they have a great returns policy and customer service dept. Add to all that, great products and some of the best prices around. I have had to return faulty and damaged keyboards a total of five times now. It takes up to 72 hours to receive a reply to emails and a couple more days before the return is organised. It takes nearly the full 3 months for the keyboards to be returned each time. read more

Appalling "service". Ordered bunch of stuff which included an electro acoustic guitar - which didn't work when it arrived. Agreed with them to send it back, then after waiting in all day, they said I wasn't there when the courier came - a complete lie. So I had a shout and got the courier back. Contacted them after a few days to see where the replacement was, to be told that they only got it back on Monday and its their policy to take 5 to 10 working days to send out a replacement. So they have sent a guitar that doesn't work, but rather than solve the issue, they make it worse! About a week later I got sick of waiting and rang to cancel the order and get my money back. At this point they start suggesting I never sent it back...but would look into it. That was days ago, and nothing yet. What bunch this lot is - steer clear. read more
