Update: As one could view, I was offered an email address to…read morereach out to which I did... I did not hear back from anybody, however... I reached out to my credit card company who also spoke with Christian brothers and they reverse the charge. Christian Brothers advertises free estimates. So don't make the mistake I made, if you know what the problem is, ask them to give you a quote you don't have to take your car over there for that estimate. I am bummed they didn't come to this conclusion before I left their shop, and that they were willing to charge me almost $200 for giving me an estimate in the first place, but I am very grateful that they decided to do the right thing... I thought you should know.

After a recent repair at this shop, my vehicle developed new problems that were not present before…read moreservice, including warning lights, steering problems, electrical system problems, HVAC noise, dashboard misalignment, and strong cabin fumes that cause throat and breathing irritation while driving. When I reported it, the shop manager canceled my follow-up appointment instead of inspecting the vehicle and declined to provide a rental or further support. I requested escalation in writing, but the shop stopped responding. I've also contacted corporate with no reply so far. I've now been without safe transportation for over three weeks due to unresolved post-repair issues. BBB complaint filed -- currently awaiting response. Update 12/29/2025: The vehicle is now completely inoperable and will not start. The dash shows "Parking Brake Unavailable" and the car was slow-cranking before dying entirely. Multiple electrical and safety warnings continue after their repair, and the car is currently disabled at my residence. I have requested written communication and escalation from the shop and corporate but have not received support or resolution.

However the bolts holding…read morethe plate were so badly rusted that they could not be removed with a simple screw driver. I called various mechanics in the area and was quoted as high as 130$ at other auto mechanics for time and labor depending on how long it took. I felt that was too pricey for removing 4 screw bolts so I searched the highest rated mechanics in the area and found heritage. I called and explained my predicament and they told me to bring the car over and they will try and remove the plate free of charge. So I drove over and sure enough one of the kind mechanics was able to use some type of clamp device to carefully remove all 4 rusted bolts. Then he put the idaho plate on for me with temporary screws and let me know where I can purchase the new bolts I needed for my car. The whole process took around ten minutes and he said I didn't owe them any money, they were happy to help. I am so impressed with this company and their customer service and willingness to help someone. I will go here for all my auto needs and services in the future.

I recently had to replace my battery. The old battery looked like it had leaked acid, and when I…read morefirst looked at it, there was much of the acidic powder buildup on the postive terminal. After cleaning up the corrosion as best I could and installing the new battery, over the next few days I had three instances of the car not starting. On Monday morning first thing I brought my car into CBA, my first experience using them. CBA is very close to my home, within a long walk, and I liked the convenience. The shop is very visible off 44 and very clean looking. I was greeted by Briana, and she was always polite, courteous, and professional. She explained that, without an appointment, it might be the next day before I could get my car back. I understand that shops get busy and that trying to fit in a customer without an appointment requires that the customer be patient. Since I am retired and I have my wife's car at my disposal, I was fine with that. That day, I received both a text and an email with my inspection report. Briana did call me in the afternoon and explained the findings. I was a little concerned that the technician initially recommended a new battery, when mine was brand new. It sounded like Briana had to tell him that the battery was brand new, and then a closer examination was done. Briana and I both agreed that the terminals would need to be cleaned up and possibly replaced due to the excessive corrosion from the leakage of the old battery. The battery would then be rechecked to make sure it was holding a charge. I had hoped that Briana might call me back that day with more information, but apparently no further work was done on the car. The next morning, at 8 am, an hour after they opened, though I had hoped for a call and update, I called and spoke to Briana. She told me she would check in with the technician and call me back, which she did about a half hour later. It turned out that after cleaning the terminals of corrosion, the positive terminal needed replacing. The battery was fine, and the car was ready for pick up. Today, the car continues to be working fine. In summary, Briana was always polite, courteous, and professional. The repair was relatively simple, after the initial inspection, and I was charged what was originally estimated, and that did not seem excessive. I was a little concerned that the technician initially jumped to the conclusion that I needed a new battery, since mine was brand new. Ultimately, the right diagnosis was reached. Since it was a simple repair, I would have appreciated not having to wait until the next day to get my car back, but busy shops sometimes have to do that, if you don't have an appointment. Overall, I was happy with CBA and Briana and plan to bring both of my cars back if I need future service.

I had a screw in my back tire and unfortunately it was not repairable and fortunately I have a matching spare mounted on the back so I was able to get on the road while I wait for my special ordered tire to arrive. They inspected all 4 tires and put the bad tire and rim in my rig and installed the spare and they had told me they charged $35 for flats and they didn't want to charge me. The service advisor attending to me said he wasn't going to charge me because he didn't fix the tire. Man I tell you all they didn't to get me back on the road in 30 minutes was worth a lot more than $35 so here I'm am doing my best to show how grateful I am for a shop that wants to gain all my future business. Personally, I'd prefer a mechanic who knows the difference between 'tight' and 'stripped.
