I took this thing to two other frame shops, and neither shop could figure out a way to make it happen. Then I came to Jeff's (owner) shop. I worked with him and a worker Claire, who is equally awesome. They were patient, friendly and most importantly, totally up for the job. They brainstormed lots of different ideas and styles and ultimately came up with something that would work. The final product turned out phenomenal. Their service, professionalism and execution were a cut above their competition. Side note: I was a tough customer. Jeff got the material for the job and called me every month for like 8 months before I brought the piece back in. What can I say? Busy...not really. Lazy...yes. Anyway, clearly I was not in a hurry, but throughout the entire process, he was all business and quite patient. Alltmont probably deserves a 6th star. I am now a loyal customer. PS: they have parking.

Not only does Alltmont listen to your preferences, but they can offer advice to fine tune the exact affect/look you are going for as well. I do think they are reasonable in their pricing. As an added bonus, if you want to be more hands-on, if they aren't too busy~can even take the time to show you how framing works. Once they helped me finish a piece with the materials. Everyone working here is friendly, kind, professional and frankly patient as I tend to take up too much of their time deciding on which frame. Plenty of whimsy here too! (see Jeff's fun 3D shadow boxes! Extraordinary!) I highly recommend Alltmont Framers.

That is, until I brought my uniforms to Capland Embroidery. I was warned that I may see stitching on my tops from having embroidery removed and replaced. However, this was not the case at all. Looking at my scrub tops you could never tell the difference! Also Capland didn't have my logo for my hospital. No problem. I texted a picture to the owner and he promised he could do it, and boy did he deliver. I brought my scrubs on a Saturday, and was promised a finished date of Tuesday. To my delight my scrubs were ready Monday afternoon! A whole day ahead of schedule! I am so pleased with their work, I just had to tell the Yelp community about it. So y'all, if y'all need a seemingly impossible job done, take it to Capland. They make the impossible possible.

When I moved to New Orleans 2 years ago, I needed a new framer, and found the girls at Magazine Street Framing right off the bat. I never looked back. They are kind, patient (they need it with me -- I always want to look at all my options!), professional, accommodating, and VERY reasonably priced. I can't say enough nice things about them. I've gotten about 10 things framed there, and everything, from my Ladies' Choice posters (which is a downright STEAL) to my most prized painting, has turned out perfectly. Now I'm moving again, and I am so sad to say goodbye to them. Thank you for all your help these last two years!

The only reason why I'm giving this four stars is it's EXPENSIVE. I was a bit wary that this store only had two dollar signs on yelp considering it is located on Magazine Street, but I decided to give it a try. Yup, it is very expensive. I have not found a way to edit how many dollar signs yelp gives to an establishment, which makes me think that the store itself is in charge of its price point on yelp. This place deserves four or five dollar signs, definitely NOT two!! Work is amazing, so you will have to decide if it is worth it for yourself.
