I told Dr Reynolds this at beginning of visit and there were no problems as she promised. In fact, Dr Reynolds and Kim turned my anxiety-filled day into a Patient's dreamland. Seriously a great experience. I brought a list of just 3 questions in with me. I was surprised that they read them with me and answered them while all along reassuring me that they would take their time and update me continually during the two-hour procedure. I have Delta Dental Discounts which helps with the prices a bit. My Husband insisted on getting second opinions and although hard to get these, we got two and they were both more than Panther Hollow. Plus other places just push and push the sale. Dr Reynolds starts at the bottom and works up to where you feel comfortable price and procedure wise. Smart move. I was a Paramedic for 11 years "back in the day" and I took pride in the care shown my patients in their most critical hour. I would never go to a medical office let alone make follow ups if I was told we were out of network. They continued to schedule more appointments and see me as a patient without ever informing that we were out. When I argued this they said it is on us to see if we were in network and that we shouldn't just go by what THE DENTIST OFFICE TELLS YOU. So basically don't trust what they tell you because you may receive a bill two months later.

For some reason, instead of seeing my usual dentist at my appointment last Wednesday, I saw Dr. Diana Rivera-Ramos along with the hygentist Megan. Both were extremely unknowledgable and unhelpful, particularly Megan making me feel worse after already feeling terrible prior to coming in. I expected to actually get help with my mouth sensitivity and pain, but got nothing beyond simply telling me to "use flouride" on the tooth. I had seen this same dentist initially and her and the other dentist there have both been telling me the same thing since I've been going there, and for all those times since they had told me I had been using both Sensodyne and more recently the prescribed extra-flouride toothpaste and following all of that carefully. It has clearly not helped as the problem has only gotten worse and all the flouride has greatly been hurting my gut's microbiome in the process and causing major digestion issues that I had to stop using anything with flouride. The dentist dismissed flouride as a cause of any sort of stomach issues at all and made me feel like I was crazy and just making up the very-real connection between flouride use and stomach issues as she's never heard of it before. If a patient cannot use flouride, there should be some sort of effort to research something else they can use. Zero attempt was made by either to suggest anything I could use as I'm also sensitive to dairy. It also seems like no one there ever takes notes on anything as I am asked practically the same questions every time by the hygentist about my teeth and habits. I don't know how many times it'll take to help them understand that I take my mouth and teeth health as well as my general health very seriously. It seems like Dr. Rivera-Ramos and Megan in particular take really nothing I say seriously. I am autisitc and suffer from chronic debilitating insomnia, making communication an extra challenge since my memory and concentration are taxed further by my either complete lack of sleep or by only an hour or two or three of sleep prior to coming in to most appointments. When I expressed feeling very frustrated and tried to explain my struggles because I have more than one health issue I'm dealing with lately, Megan displayed absolutely no caring attitude or helpful comments at all, completely dismissing my actual concerns or acknowledging me as a person. I feel I am treated as a child and uncared for by most of the staff there except for Tina, whom I had a very good rapport with as well as somewhat with Dr. Fabelo, although not nearly as much as with Tina because Dr. Fabelo has also been saying much of the same about flouride that's not been helping me at all for months and at least a year now. Beyond cleaning my teeth decently enough and doing an okay job with my crown, there is little help I am getting from here at all. This is my second dentist I've been to as my other dentist was completely incompetent, and this place is slowly turning into another place I'm not trusting the professionals very much for real help beyond the same exact advice every time that's not been helping. I am completely on my own now as to how to help myself with remineralizing my tooth without flouride as I was not given any viable options. I feel defeated and frustrated. I am in pain and suffering. I feel most doctors and professionals are doing the minimum and not significantly trying enough to even help me for how much time and money I am spending on them. I have no idea what to do.
