Patients may never get an accurate cost for suggested dental work, with no recourse as the staff changes so often. The dentist tried to tell me it is state law, which it is not - I checked, two separate appointments are not required. Luckily, I found a dentist who would do both the exam and the cleaning in one appointment. I hate to give a bad rating but don't lie to me.

Candidate #1 was out of the office for 2 weeks at a conference, candidate #2 thought that waiting for 2 1/2 weeks for an "Emergency Visit" (his words, not mine) was reasonable. Candidate #3, Kathie Allen, listened to my dilemma and graciously agreed to see me right away. I found her, and her assistant, to be professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. She did a full assessment, with X-rays, and removed my molar with minor discomfort (NO pain). Thanks to both of them, I will be sleeping soundly tonight for the first time in over a week. The rest of the story is amazing. Dr Aryann is a remarkable dentist and a true perfectionist. He discovered some decay in the tooth which was obvious in the x-ray - even to us. His recommendation was a crown. He manufactures crowns right in the office, so no need for the usual temporary and another visit to insert permanent crown. My husband came home today with a brand new smile! He is so happy and said Dr Aryaan is a "magician"!! We cannot say enough about how satisfied we are and how grateful we are to have found this practice. The office is well equipped with the newest technology and the staff cannot do enough for you! I am a complicated patient, given I have bone disease, so while I have little to no decay issues, I have lost perfectly good teeth. He and his team have helped me keep my smile. There is no other dental practice out there that can hold a candle to this caring, knowledgeable and honest practice. The front office person was kind, friendly and efficient. I was traumatized by an earlier dental experience as a child so I was quite fearful. Dr. McKenzie came out into the waiting room to greet me. He has a quiet, professional and personable affect. He LISTENED to me. He went over my xrays in detail and described what he would do now and the future. He performed the procedure that day. They told me that if I wanted to make an appointment with North Port Dental, I would be considered a new client. Avoid this unprofessional practice.
