There is beer and wine options and they have mostly tortas and burgers. The 2 girls working were nice but not very fast. I got the pacciola de res, which is just a basic burger (manchego cheese, lettuce, tomato). They have a nice variety of toppings lined across the bar for patrons; catsup, mayo, mustard, pico de gallo, rajas, habenero, salt, oil and vinegar. From this I made the burger the way I wanted it and had salt and vinegar french fries on the side. I had a dos equis to wash it down. My bill was pretty low and the food was good. My biggest annoyance was trying to pay and leave at the end. There was a line of people trying to order and I had to wait for a while to be able to pay

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this restaurant was still open after all of these…read moreyears. The last time that I was here was way back in 2015, and since that time, the place hasn't changed much really. The interior oftue restaurant is almost the same from when I remembered it. The menu itself also seemed to be pretty much identical. I ordered their special jievos ala revuelto along with a hochata drink. The breakfast was what I had expected and it seemed like one of the owners was actually doing the cooking. The eggs platter included beans and a bollito roll. The service was good, and nobody remembered me as I didn't expect them to. This restaurant is down Rio Sena so you may want to search it out before you go looking for it.

Had we just visited this place one time, it would have gotten a 4 star. Unfortunately, we assumed…read moreit would be a similar experience the second time, but no such lunch. Admittedly the food was average to good, but one doesn't expect a 5 star chef at a neighborhood cafe/restaurant. This place tanked because of service. We had a group of 8 people, but it shouldn't be our of the ordinary. The first meal at our table was served a full 30 minutes before the last person got her meal. One person had ordered an appetizer with her meal. The appetizer came in middle of people getting meals, but her main course didn't come, as she said, "hasta dos meses despues!"

I had a delicious croissant and a cup of coffee that was probably the best one I had all week. The World Cup game was on in the background, and a couple folks were cheering. Today I enjoyed feuit with yogurt and granola, Mandarin juice, cafe americano, and a pan artesanal con fruta rojos. The fruit was mostly cantelope which is disappointing considering it's Mexico and the options are endless year round. Ingot the large and a small would of suffices had I known it would be so standard. The yogurt and granola portion was equal to that of the small serving on my neighbors table with small size fruit. What's up with that? The rest of the foods were at expected levels. The service staff were like tornados breaking any silence dancing through tight spaces. For the simplicity of.my order it still took almost 20 minutes to get yogurt. It's a fairly international zone and I could see other tables annoyed by how busy they were and unable to see the evilneye of desire coming from their tables. Still everyone was super polite, accepted my student Spanish, and worked to resolve any issues. The service and fruit variety warranted one star removal. Why pretend to be the best and deliver mediocrity in the simple areas?
